Yes but the white colour make the car ' higher' and this kind of car does not need it in my opinion.

 

I'm leaning toward Ferro...

 

Didn't see any pictures which show the grill options in the brochure. Xeron, which grill option did you choose?

 

I don't know why they continued the mock-up tail lights from the first gen. It seems wrong for two "tail lights" to not light up under braking. Instead only 3 small horizontal lines illuminate. Anyone else think it could be a potential disaster for an onlooker to be staring at a new Ferrari and maybe not notice the car stop quickly when behind? Just a random thought.

 

Its all about our stupid Federal Government getting involved writing stupid laws when they haven't thought it through. I have had a few people flag me down because my 'stop lights' are not all working. I asked Ferrari when building Cali #2 to put additional stop lights in the upper lights, they said flat no.

Yeah. IIRC, it's about the stop lights having to be on a fixed or non-moving part of the car. Since the big red lights are mounted on the trunk lid, they can't, by regulation, serve as brake lights. But no doubt they would actually be more effective than the ones that are regulation compliant.

Fantastic...thanks for posting! In going thru it I find it hard not to add $40-$50k+ to get a car most would want. Some things never change.

 

Curious, but probably it will be very good. I guess it will be in three weeks then because of an embargo.

 

Its interesting that parking sensors, cruise control and SiriusXM radio are now standard, but it appears all brake caliper colors are now extra, with blue & gold calipers available. I also wonder what the US Visibility package is.

So many ridiculously priced options...

 

Interesting but disappointing that more GT features were not made standard, such as the parking cameras and Homelink. Since all California Ts are convertibles, they should have also included heated seats. Because most cars will have multiple drivers, and all cars have to go in for service, seat memory should also be included. At least they included cruise control, but every SL and most mid-range sedans have all the things above. Not having them and/or making them optional on the more hard core 458 makes more sense; some owners would prefer a lighter car with fewer amenities. But the California T has a different mission.

As a result, a number of California Ts in the secondary market will lack these amenities, and maybe drag resale prices down.

I noticed the following from the PDF
1. Car Play is not noted?
2. Electric Seats is not shown as STD nor as an option, along with heated seats?
3. Is the Sport Exhaust merely decrative or does it enhance the sound?
4. Has anyone seen the backbone seats or have pics of them?
5. It appears the price of the diamond finsihed wheels has gone from 4700 to 8100 ?
6. Does not show the MSRP of the car, so we do not know if the STDs are really included or they just raised the price of the car?

IIRC it was mentioned that CarPlay would not be available on the Cali T at launch.

As mentioned multiple times the sport exhaust is just a visible enhancement. Small fins added to the inside of the pipes.

The backbone seats look like the daytona seats with the difference being that the insert stripe goes across the entire seat (there are not two inserts divided in the middle). There are also no buttons on the insert stripe.

 

Ha...I think we can all correctly guess the answer to this one.

 

Electric seats are on there for the bargain price of $6242

 

The old cali was typically optioned around $245,000 (average) in the US.

I'm guessing a similarly optioned Cali T will be $275,000...we shall see...so a 10-12% price increase...we shall see.
