Only if you have 2.7 in the 95 cars. 96 up is motronic 5.2 I know soime folks have been in there but they are keeping it to themselves

I will be going stand alone ECU next season to just avoid all the issues

I do have a never opened / shrink wrapped in its horsey packaging a 1995 F355 2.7 Motronic ecu. Maybe it's time to pop it open and let it breath... and while it's out, 3fourty8 can do his magic on the chips. We can them slide it back into its shrink wrap packaging for another 25 years...

No, for the Stoogefest it will be OEM code on faster chips with a matched copy of the code for each chip.

    Bring it!

For a properly running car, nothing.

Most of the guys I have sent chips to have reported that their cars run smoother, idle better, etc. That may be due to the faster chip speed, having a matched set of code on each chip (there is some evidence different chip code revisions have turned up in matched ECUs, we'll verify at Vince's) or it could all be in our heads I suppose. ;)

Some guys just like to have a backup set in case their OEM chips ever get fried.

There are some performance enhancements floating around, but nothing I would be comfortable handing out until I can measure the results and be confident it won't grenade a motor.

Your 355 runs on the Motronic 5.2 system (OBD II) and unfortunately is beyond the scope of what I can do with my equipment - I am set up for Motronic 2.5 and 2.7 systems.

I have ordered an 82C Tstat from GT car parts. I need help installing.

I would like a couple knowledgable bros to drive my rig and give opinions. I'm just back from a 30k and header replacement (w Fabspeeds). Car runs better than it has in a long time, but open to any critique and help.
    Thanks y'all!

What do you mean "bearing Latex"? I don't think its that kind of party. Not planning on showing up like this are you? Would keep the oil off you though.

3forty8, I've got (2) sets of chips for my 348 2.7. Both came with the car when I bought it(one set currently installed), and I assume that one is stock and the other is a tune. If possible to see with your reader, I'd be interested to know what I've got.

Vince, let me know what is left on the grocery list that I can bring.

Looking at the guest list imagine how many chip sets we are going to get. Eric is going to be one busy geek!

Come over when u like but 10 is a good time. The 1st turkey goes in the fat at 10ish. Who else is bringing a bird? I need to plan it out. I also have a chicken for the fryer and wings of course for the fat man. All items nearly acquired. I have a few bottles of beer so we need that if anyone is inclined. I have 2 cases of soda but if you like something special bring it.

I'm going to assign the locals to the ice run. FBB and Bruce especially. Need 3 10 lb bags at least. If u like come here and use my bimmer to fetch.

FYI turkey is challenging to find. Frozen is still around but u gotta hunt. I got a nice 1 at Ralphs. Smart and Final had some and Albertsons. Not every store has the sa,me stuff. You need to get tomorrow to thaw it out in time in the fridge. Try for 15 lbs or less. Larger ones need to be cut apart for white and dark meat. Extra step.

Okay, guys that's enough turkey! LOL. Crap that is 45-50 minutes per bird. What do you clowns think I am going to do all day? Cook? Well, you're right. Someone has to mind that 5 gallon pot of boiling peanut oil. I have rubs and marinades, aka injections, if you just bring the thawed bird. Actually we can probably do another one if someone wants. We only need 1 or 2 to eat. The rest is take-home fare. Figure the fat man for his own bird though. Probably best for the rest of us. Maybe we'll get some wings this year. ;)
