IMO The stop lights and turn lights are easier to see in Cali generation # 1 compared to Cali generation #2.

At least that's how things look when watching the video of the two cars during the daytime.

And here's a video of a car at night:

These options (the ones that are the same as the 458 and Cali 30) are more expensive than they were on those models.

    No problem! :)

Looks like all calipers are an "option". US Visibility is parking cameras (front and rear) and the swiveling lights.

    1. Been noted elsewhere in the forum it's to be included at launch. A dealer told me the same here in the US.
    2. They're an option
    3. Yes
    4. They are in the PDF posted in three parts earlier on in this thread

I haven't ordered yet. I am an interested buyer and came across this options list so I thought I'd share with the rest of you. :)

I was referring to this video:

NEW 2015 Ferrari California T's on the road in Maranello! - YouTube

There are both the Gen 1 and T, most of the footage is devoted to the T--so the vid I added shows the old Cali.

Judge for yourself about the lights

(Several FChatter said they were going to rewire the two large trunk lights to make them active)

Does the current generation stereo have Bluetooth audio streaming? The options list says its included as standard.

I agree that more features should be standard, but it seems Ferrari's strategy is to offset "limited" unit volumes by maintaining price & margin increases in the options. I'm not so sure that less featured cars will drag resale prices down - it seems like secondary buyers don't pay a premium for fully-optioned cars (particularly the carbon trim) anyway. My observation is that in the US, price is mostly a function of model year, mileage and condition, with options helping to drive how quickly a car sells. But maybe I'm way off base.

At first I didn't like the look of the "standard" 19" wheels but the more I see them in press photos and on the youtube videos the more I'm starting to like them... maybe even more than the 20", especially since I'm considering a Cali T as a DD for many years to come.

I also would like to use the car as a daily driver and am looking also at the 19s

Plus I like "basic" aluminum wheels generally more than the colored wheels which seem to be the trend these days. I do like the diamond 20" wheels, but at $8K they are an expensive option for sure.

Agree. For me, its either the standard 19 or the diamond 20's. Leaning towards the diamond 20s at present. Pricy for sure but maybe worth it.

Agree, I too will probs get the diamond cut, but the slightly "deep dish" look of the 19's (particularly at the rear) has a design appeal that's missing from previous std wheels. Difficult choice on wheels for once! Interesting that in the beauty shots above from HK, all the examples appear to use the std wheel design.

    1. are those the standard wheels?
    2. are those the backbone seats?
    3. i think the center bridge and sills are cf, but it does not look like the upper have them?

Thanks for posting the photos and the link. Most viewers may not realize it but these photos of the California T from HK are of much higher quality than any we have seen so far. Photographic optical distortions of the car's proportions have been extremely well-suppressed.

I'm sure we'll see many interesting colour schemes once the factory starts shipping the car.

I don't think the Top Gear driver seems too disappointed. If anything, he was looking for a more RAW, visceral Ferrari Experience where that is not the full intention of this car, and I believe he seems to know that. It will certainly be interesting to see all the reviewers' opinions, and to revisit Top Gear's continued analysis as time passes and further testing occurs.
