Countach 25th Anniversario

I'm going to be transferring my reg soon and am contemplating getting custom plates. Once in while an idea for a plate will pop into my head and I won't write it down then of course forget it. Today, Light Speed came to mind. ( LHT SPD ) Another I have considered is 180mph Club. ( 180 CLB ) this one I feel may get criticized for two reasons, but maybe I'm way over thinking this. 1. No I have never seen 180mph 2. Many may gripe the car can't do 180mph.

Anyway, I don't want to derail the Anni thread but thought this could be fun reading some replies from the family. Thoughts?

In the early 1980's, I asked my father several times to purchase a nice 300SL Gullwing for the bottom 40's.





I read about a Porsche 906 Coupe (Car Auction Magazine) which was listed in the wrong auction, at no reserve . Car sold for approximately 150K. This was less than ten years ago.

 

Yes Joe, only some rain at saturday evening. We have eight Countach and only one 25th.

I couldn't agree with you more about the Esprit! I also have the same pair in my collection, with 025/100 and a black Anni.

 

Jeff we have such similar taste in cars. I picked up a 2000 Esprit a few months ago, such a fun little car and a great value for the money!!!
