I just put on some hiflo cats and a tubi in a 355. 4 new 02 sensors as 3 were bad. Now I am getting p0133 -p0139 codes pending slow 02 response I cant detect any exhaust leaks all new gaskets, scoped my manifolds while everything was off and they look OK no leaks The codes did not throw a CEL yet Funny thing is when driving hard around town no codes were pending but a easy 80 mph down the hwy the codes started to pend. I knwo this car like to get beat on LOL Has anyone run into this, outcome suggestions ? Going to run it for a while to see if they throw the CEL
hi i have the same code p0133 p0139 sometime p0153 p0159 and even p0422 p0432 sometime only p0422 p0432 , i just put o2 spacer on the rear of cat for the code p0422 and p0432 i have to go a couple of road test to see if they gone but the p0133 p0139 bug me i rebuilt my headers no leaks i already synchronize my throttle body i m working on that code if i find something i m gonna let you know it is never the same code that appear really strange i have a tubi muffler that s it
If 3 of the 4 were bad to start what were the initial codes? If no codes, how did you determine that were bad? Did you reset the ECU?
after a couple of ride with the o2 spacer the p0422 and p0432 came back so putting o2 spacer don t change anything i m gonna to recalibrate the throttle body these code are pending so now i m waithing for the check engine light to come on and then see what is the code and maybe some freeze fram data if anybody have the same cpde p0133 p0139 p0153 p0159 p0422 p0432 let me know if you have found something
I had an intermittent leak at the Cat that was sucking air Also cleaned all the connection back to the ecu
Did that Every connection seems to be crap on these cars. I dont know why but they just dont work. It's the first or second operation I look at no matter whats wrong even a low tire LOL
True Dat! People think I am nuts but the SRI gold kit solution is really serving me well. Most of us gold kit worshipers have just given up talking to others about it because of all the controversy. Most are happily driving their reliable cars quietly. SRI now has gold pins for the 02 sensor connections too. Reports are very positive.
