Sky showed it a few times, and you're correct - The racing gods were definitely on his side![Checo wasn't that far away from him either!]
Vettel was lucky not to have been collected by that carnage, he better give thanks! Ferrari have much to do in terms of both engine and chassis development. The aesthetics suck too.
Just saw footage from Massa's car and I didn't see Perez do anything untowards. I just think he hit the brakes early due to his problems and caught Massa off guard. http://youtu.be/gYvooh1ev90
Perez jinked left clearly as to block. Even so Massa should have moved just as every other driver moves when the one allowed blocking move is pulled. There is a following helicopter shot that shows it pretty well.
Also when Massa was pulling his half hearted passing attempts on Vettel his DRS was not working consistently. Not his fault entirely. Watch Vettel when he makes an attempt; its the real deal and everyone knows it so they move.
What the **** actually happened to loldonado? I've completely forgot what happened to him. did he crash?
No one moves in that braking zone there. I don't think anyone would've been prepared for something like that and still have the reactions to avoid an accident at that speed. Had Massa jerked left he would've gone straight on the grass and an even bigger accident with Vettel. I actually think one of the brakes on Perez failed completely hence the sudden jerk.
Can't help thinking forgetting about, rather than talking about him, is a good thing! IIRC, his PU quit - Not his fault for once.
Max Chilton gets a 3 grid place penalty in Austria..... won't make a whole lot of difference I guess....
Massa placed Perez in a bad position. All they could do was crash as I don't think Massa was about to move/yield. Too aggressive, but they called it a racing incident which I can understand. Stuff happens.
