I hate to do this, but with all my projects this one keeps moving to the back burner.

Its a 1982 Maserati QPIII. I have owned it for four years and picked through many cars before buying this one, rust was my main concern and this was the most rust free examples I could fine. Ran and drove good and was a solid car.

I purchased it and drove it around a while. I bought some matching leather for the interior and started collecting a few parts I might need.

I moved to Colorado and the car stayed in my enclosed storage for about a year and half, I had the car delivered and it started right up but the brakes were flat. My mechanic said he would take a go at it and sent the master to be rebuilt, I told him we could just buy one for 400 bucks but he assured me this would be cheaper.

About three months passed and when I asked about the car he was up to 900.00 worth of time replacing brake lines and machine work on the master and he still couldn't get it to hold pressure... I was furious and paid him and removed the car back to storage.

The brakes were fine until it sat but now it will hold very little pressure... It simply needs a new brake master. ( it has new lines)

So the car is has rebuilt carbs and I had them tuned earlier this year, the car runs and idles smooth. Transmission works great and headlights, windows, radio etc all work.

The ONLY rust I can find is one small eraser head size bubble on the front fender. All body work for dings etc have been done. It does need a paint job.

I have considered parting this car out and will if it doesn't sell. But honestly this car is worth saving, its not one of those junkers that have been sitting outside rotting away.

It would be a huge shame to break it down into parts.

I am wanting 3500 firm, which is far less than half what I paid for it. I mainly want it to go to a good home. I have a clear title in my name. No games.

I am coming to Texas in June and can deliver for a small fee.

Feel free to come see the car in Colorado and ask any questions, this is a fun, beautiful car and deserves to be restored.

I saw this on my local CL today. Too bad you weren't closer. I've always wanted one of these. The logistics won't work for me, though. Best of luck with the sale.

Shame,, sold to be parted out... sad as this is a running, very little rust example with clear title.

Well, at least it will be sacrificed so that others may live.

A shame. I liked it, but not really enough to give it a home. $3500 will go a long way to getting the Mustang running.

I surely hope so. You've been busy.

Speaking of which, Jason - What are you up to these days?
