Great job! Is that a 911 or 912? I drove my 356 Cab A today, top down of course! It's another beautiful day in CA today

Thank you. 1967 SWB 912. Original Tangerine with a electric sunroof.

My favorite car since I started collecting was my 1963 356 1600S coupe. Sold that several years ago. So when it came time for something similar again I searched for a five speed version of my favorite little flat engine (tough to do in the 356 world). So I came up with this :)

Its a real pleasure to own & drive.

Well the 912 definitely is a 5-speed version of your old little car with a Super 90 engine. It's perfect! I definitely am in the market for a 3 gauge 912, or a soft window targa.

I have been watching the market. That soft window is going to set you back my friend. :) Heck any good twelve is real money these days. But I so enjoy them.

I had a leak at the main seal so I pulled the engine today. Six bolts, five electrical wires, one fuel line & a throttle linkage ball & socket - then the engine was out. Less than an hour.

    So satisfying.

I took my 1988 911 cab for a drive today. Every time I drive her I wonder why I need my 2012 991s.

Took the 993 turbo out yesterday. Only went to the gym, grocery store and back but even that was enjoyable!

I put more miles on my 356s than my new cars. It's so much fun when you can drive a slow car fast. If I step on the gas in the 993 TT, the xmas lights always seem to pop up behind me

Took the '79 930 Turbo out this morning, albeit from the upholstery shop to the "fixmyengine bootlidthatkeepsopeningallthetime" shop. It is ready by now, so I'll take her out tonight for a spirited drive, if it does not rain. Boy that feels like a special car, and everytime I drive it hard, I simply forget it is 35 yo, due to its performance.

The DP is based on a '79 930 CA car. The conversion was done by Andial in the early '80's. I bought the car in 2005. There was so little information about these cars I started the DP935 Registry in '06.

Full body, interior, suspension, motor & trans conversion. Recaro C electric seats, DP center console, center console boost knob, etc. Michelin TB15 tires on Fuchs 8x15 fronts and DP 13x15 Fuchs rear w/335/35/15's. Motor is 3.5 twin plug (Bosch 12 distributor), sc cams, SSI's, DP i/c & muffler, 400 chp. Transmission has lsd and Andial 8:39 r&p.

I took my 930 out for a drive today, and now I remember why I drive it only at night. We had a bunch of traffic on the road today as it was a state holiday, so it was not a very enjoyable drive. The ac was working, but did not do well in traffic. On the freeway, the ac was fine. It was nice to get the old girl out for a run!
