I really admire him and I think blue looks fantastic on many Ferraris.

Not sure about the Mirage part of the name, but Alfred Momo was involved, they look a little like the Pininfarina 130 coupe, something like a Ferrari 365GT4/2 plus 2 (predecessor to 400) , but have Chevrolet V8 power from new.
I think three were built, he recently showed one at a concours.
My question is: how would one estimate the 2014 value of such a car? It is a speciale, to be sure, done "in period" , not some modern day car, but I can't figure out if that helps it or hurts it on value that you can't say it is a speciale from this-and-this design hourse or by such and such a designer. Another way of looking at it would be: How much would it cost to duplicate today, and I'd come out at about $400,000.

Any guesses and reasoning why you would guess that figure?

I had a similar question about the Lamborghini 400GT Monza with bodywork by N & B but that was a stock Lamborghini 350GT chassis (with 400 engine) underneath so in determining value, that gives you a place to stand on...

Thanks Edmond for this interview. PK is real gentleman, and of course a very big connoisseur !
I met him almost every year (maybe except last year) for the last 10 editions of the concorso Villa d'Este, and it was always a pleasure to discover a new jewell of his impressive collection.
