Apparently Bunte's source are hospital employees (hello Nerofer!). We had those sources before, so it might be true? Regardless the story is now popping up everywhere.
Yes Mirror : This is worrying though. A rehab ward means he will still receive the same massage therapy and muscle toning that he has been getting daily but that doctors no longer expect significant improvements - certainly in the short term - in his condition. "Schumacher's transfer to a special rehabilitation clinic is being prepared and the chances of full recovery have dropped," said German magazine Bunte.
Oh, I'm right here Andreas. In fact I tried to cross-check it with any french source, but there are none for the time being. The few sites that are mentionning the news are very cautious and say they have it from "Bunte", so no cross-checking possible, at least up to this minute. Rgds
A rehab facility tells me he has entered a different state in his treatment, meaning he is not in his former position of treatment. So whatever he's doing, it's alternate to whaveter it was prior which infers he's in an alternate state, whatever that is we don't know but I remain optimistic. While I remain optimistic don't confuse that with blind, I know full recovery chances are slim.
I've always had two hero's both being named Michael. Monday morning I lost one of them to cancer. My dad fought 5 long years in and out of the hospital but in the end he decided he had had enough and stopped his chemo. I know the pain the Schumachers are feeling sitting at a bedside watching your loved one struggle to survive. I hope that they find comfort somehow and that Michael Schumacher will somehow recover. Miracles can happen...my dad was one of them. We should have lost him years ago but somehow he bounced back from his deathbed and survived 4 more years. I wish Michael and his family the best and send my regards.
Matt - Very sorry for your loss. We endured with my mother a similar, very similar situation with cancer. All the best for the future!
as the others have said Matt, I too am so sorry for your loss. I hope your fathers pain is now relieved and that he will rest in peace. this will be a tough fathers day weekend but I hope you are able to focus on wonderful memories of your dad. very best, Peter
As per an official statement from Sabine Kehm minutes ago, MS has woken up and has been transfered to another clinic for rehabilitation!!!
I cannot believe this. Will remember this monday for ever. Michael you have fought well, keep it up!!!
that story is very ambiguous. i obviously want the very best possible outcome for schumi, but i am not completely convinced by that headline or story.
Obviously he still ill but he has woken from the coma which is just the best news we could hope for. It's the words of Sabine. In the Bild article they have included the official statement. http://bild.de/sport/motorsport/michael-schumacher/aus-koma-aufgewacht-und-in-reha-klinik-verlegt-36406634.bild.html
More to follow Im sure. Good news but to what degree. We will not know for sometime on his actual condition or future outcome with respect to capacity.
Same news here in France: What is sure is that he is "no longer in coma" and has left for an "undisclosed location", but no other elements. Rgds
Just saw the news here too, fantastic! They really kept a tight lid on that, if he's now transferred to another location, his condition must have been improving for quite a while.
