Countach 25th Anniversario

She has had the mufflers removed now, breathes better and pulls well, actually pleased with the look after seeing her for 14 years with a wing.
Starting to think the lines look better with out the wing.

 

It is a consignment car, they don't own it. Nice car the last time I saw it.

 

What is the asking price...may help see where we are going with these?

 

You have good taste, white on white countach cannot be any better.

 

Is this a white Diablo that we see behind?

 

Yes it sure looks like it.

 

Love this photo with scenery in the back.

 

I keep going back and forth regarding the wings. I see a picture wingless and I can almost 'see' the car swooosh through the air. I then see a winged car and feel the wing completes the car.

As an Anglophile and a Countachphile, I thank you for those pictures.

 

After seeing the back to back postings by Joe with black cars - wingless and winged, it reinforces my personal preference for wingless.

 

Having had a wing on for 14 years, it finally came off this year... I'm enjoying the wingless look on the 25Th very much

What did you do to the decklid after removing wing?

Have a friend who is a aluminium sheet metal worker an welder sort a template if I ever wish to re mount an then re weld new sections in.

It was then repainted...

Thank you, the colour is Giallo Fly (only UK RHD supplied) only other is Jim Copes in SA which is same combo RHD that I know of.

 

The Yellow DD Anni in Aust came via Hong Kong (maybe originally UK delivered??) - one of four countach imported here from Hong Kong by the late Bob Ljubic. Australian delivered Anniversaries were all fuel injected.

 

Yes that's it. Bob sold it to a Queenslander and I think he was on selling in 2007.
