It was a joyous event with more exotics / cool cars than you can shake a stick at.

Heck, I even saw a couple of rare British supercars: a Noble and an Ultima GTR.

A lot of attention was being given by the curious to the weird looking small new BMW i3.

The car count was actually closer to 200 cars. Guess we are off to a great start for the summer season. Participants may need to begin arriving by 8:30 to find a space.

And we have now heard from property management about where cars are not supposed to be parking. (along the front of the building to the immediate north of the lot) Photos of the location can be found on the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/groups/PDXCandC/

Great turn out this past weekend. Probably the first time we have had a traffic jam of people trying to park.

Here is a map of the parking. The green area is the where we generally park, but with weekends like this past we can overflow to the yellow areas. As for the red, property management has asked us too leave these spots for the employees working on Saturday.

    Hey Guys,

My cousin is coming into town tonight from back east and I would love to get her a ride tomorrow at Cars and Coffee in a late model Ferrari or Lamborghini to give her a good experience while she is here. We wouldn't make it down there until about 9:30-10 so if someone is willing to offer a ride, let me know. Thanks.

We didn't. If someone would have get back to me I would have changed out breakfast time around to make it work but since we didn't hear anything back I left out breakfast time at 9am in Vancouver and them we headed out straight for Sunriver where we have been ever since.

If I thought many would show up this Saturday, I'd make the 90 mile drive. Any opinions about attendance this weekend?

It's every Saturday; no major competition in town this weekend that I'm aware of. If the weather is good (and so far the forecast says it will be), there should be well over 100 cars covering a span of more than 60 years of domestic and foreign manufacturers.

I was wondering about it being the 4th of July weekend, with folks going out of town. Should have been more explicit ...

No way to know. It will depend on the individual decision of each owner.

Thanks for posting these pix! I came and stayed for quite a while, met lots of nice folks, too. The red Ford GT is mine.

    See you another time ...!

    Cheers
    David

You're welcome. That Ford GT sure is a beautiful beast.

Thanks to everyone who continues to attend this "spontaneous" event after more than five years of gatherings. It is a testament to the strength of the automotive community in the Portland area.

One gentle reminder is that due to the popularity of the event, everyone is reminded to park in a single parking space. With over 200 cars in attendance, we do not have sufficient space for drivers to occupy more than one space.

Another gentle reminder is that we have zero tolerance for burnouts. Thankfully this does not appear to be a recurring problem for the members in this forum. ;-)

Here is a link to one of the regular attendees who creates weekly videos of the cars and departures.

Logan has a fairly good library of videos from past events.
    Check them out.
