My shock light came on. Pulled the rear actuators actuators and they look fine. However, the right rear post on the shock only turns about 1/3 of thew way around. The other side turns all the way around Any one have this fault? Cause? Resolution? How do you align the actuator to the pin for proper alignment on re-assmbly? Thanks....
I had the same problem and had to replace the actuator because it turned to much. What did you figure out?
The actuator on the shock only turns about 30 degrees. My left rear one spun all the way around. Turns out the actuator gear on top was cracked and fell apart after I tinkered with it. Ordered new ones form Ricambi. Interesting in that this was a steel gear that broke.
How would it spin too much? As I understand it, the ECU sends a signal to the Actuator to do a full turn one direction & then a full turn in the other. I assume the actuator has some sort of belt or clutch as the pin on top of the shock does not do a full turn. In essence it resets the position of the shocks on each start. Well, I think anyway...any experts care to shine some light here?
I know i even sent it out to captainZ he said it was good. But your right they should only spin 30 degree's this one spins about 90degree's and sets the light. So i just replaced it and no more light.
