Afaik Capristo the only one available now. Got info Novitec's out in about 2 weeks. No info about Tubi, Kreissieg or any other Manufacturer.

I will decide after I heard them.

I've ordered Novitec's full Inconel Exhaust with 100Zeller Cats with their ECU mods, but have to wait nearly 2 months :(

It pains me to admit it, but my 2010 Italia with valve controller sounded better than my Speciale (also with switch kit). The Speciale isn't as tuneful, just bassier and gruff. To me, it's the one aspect where Ferrari went backwards.

This is real shame if correct. Just needs after market attention..

I am still running my Speciale in; but so far I would have to say it sounds less than impressive.

IMO Ferrari have been going backwards in this department since the 355. I have fitted aftermarket exhausts to all the Ferraris that I have owned post the 355. Knowing this the salesman handed me this technical bulletin when I picked up the Speciale.

    Thoughts?

Partly agree with the part about reducing the back pressure. Imo back pressure is only very significantly reduced with aftermarket exhaust components so I have no problem with these.

Going catless on this car, however, drastically reduces the back pressure making it mandatory to remap the ecu with aftermarket programs which can lead to transmission and CEL issues, not to mention slight loss of power in low-end ranges

360c - which set of pipes will you be going for on the speciale ?

I had a full Capristo system (headers to tail pipes) on my 430 Scuderia which I was very happy with. In light of that I would most likely go with Capristo on the Speciale if I end up changing the exhaust.

I like the sound of the full Novitec exhaust on the Speciale; but I suspect it would be painfully loud on anything but short trips. It would also be unlikely to pass the sound tests on a race track.

I can't see any point in removing the CATS entirely. In my experience the high flow aftermarket CATS will also cause CEL issues, despite claims to the contrary.

I agree CATS delete will cause CEL issues and void the warranty issue. Novitec has a CATS canceler device to avoid CEL Issues but I still believe void the warranty.
