What the??? This Is The $4.2 Million Gorgeous One-Off Ferrari F12 TRS Btw, the front matches part of the clay mockup there was picture of in the official Ferrari Magazine in the article with LdM. It's even a targa too!
How did Jalopnik report it before anyone here? First time I've ever seen that happen. Marcel, Toolfan - are they wrongly assuming that this special project is named TRS?
According to Jalopnik: While we can't confirm 100% that it is indeed called the Ferrari F12 TRS, it would make sense, considering that just last week Ferrari filed a trademark notice with the Italian government for this exact symbol: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Because there are insiders that don't have accounts on FChat who contact other people when they share information. As well as that, many of the insiders on FChat also know a lot of things they unfortunately can't post publicly. I would never in a million years believe Marcel or Michael would be wrong about something like this. Whoever "tipped" Jalopnik probably wants to remain anonymous for good reasons... (If it's an employee or lower-tier customer leaking info etc.) Posting under a forum alias removes that barrier of anonymity (IP address etc.) Look at "Futch" on the Rennteam forum. Serious collector who doesn't post on FChat. He posted his LaF delivery experience over there.
another foto ... from the front ... with Luca di Montezemolo, Amedeo Felisa and Flavio Manzoni https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151961773836364&set=a.427892571363.229698.82520206363&type=1
apart from the red in the front lights, I think it looks spectacular! Especiall love the bulges behind the headrests!
It looks awesone except for the oversized wheels and as you pointed out, the red in the headlight clusters.
Looks stunning to me, very aggressive. I for one don't believe this is a special project but rather another extremely low run car. When Ferrari lowered annual production I think it left scope to produce super low run, high priced models like this.
In recent years there has always been at least one limited-edition (not SP) V12 Barchetta per model generation.
If it was a one off I don't believe Ferrari would bother with TRS trademark etc. this must be a limited production run car IMHO.
