When I had my 350 mile Countach on these pages a few years back it was scorned upon as basically junk by many on here...tide has turned

Mine wasn't driven for over 16 years when I got it.

I had a few things corrected to get it running. Then let it sit for a year myself now I have to redo all that work I did 2 years ago.

Countach should not be let to sit in the garage for long periods of time without driving them.

Isn't it interesting, how just a "random" un-posed pic of a normal car looks, well, normal, while a random un-posed pic of something like 1121038 looks like it belongs in a book, on a poster, etc. I fall in love with this thing over and over and over.

I'll never forget my Significant Others words from years ago - a few months after I bought a CT. "Lamborghinis aren't normal cars - are they?"

If I could only pick one car ever made it would be this one. I've been lucky enough to see it a couple times and it is stunning in every way. It is the perfect Countach.

I drive mine quite a lot. More than once a week. I have drove it many times in bumper to bumper traffic and I've gotten used to it. If you make it a habit to drive the car often, you won't mind so much anymore. I parallel park my Countach several times a week.

When I first got the car I was worried all the time driving it. I scraped my front spoiler a few times and it bummed me out. Now I've become a master of entering parking lots without scraping the spoiler. Driving the car has become very normal for me now. The Countach really is very reliable if you drive it often.

I left our LP400s (1121176) at our home in Norcal for a couple years after 2007 Monterey Italiana, we drove it up and down the coast many times and also through the wine country where it was a big hit everywhere we went, small sips of wine became half glasses when the vintners seen the car. We had shop owners ask us to call ahead of time when we drove to town and they would save a parking place in front of their store, seems it increased traffic flow in the store. :) I've put just at 19,000 miles on the car since 1991.
