thoughts on this? sounds pretty good wound up... I little "pingy" though... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KABVK5FfxY
Don't like the sound at idle but under load it's not bad. I don't think I would want to take a 4 hour road trip though.
My car has almost the same sound, just as loud. I had many long drives like 8 or 10 hours and the noise in the cab is very easy to live with, ex wife and the 2 little dogs never complained.
Is the normal idle that lopey, really sounds like a v8? Sounds good but I'm sure the drone is terrible on the highway... I would certainly live with it though... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I drove my new-to-me 328 from Vegas to MD two days after I bought it - 2700 miles in 3 days. It had (has) the oem muffler but I still needed ear plugs/Bose noise canceling head phones for the trip. I could not have handled the noise for the 12-14-hour driving days. THe oem is, IMO is an excellent compromise between sporty-sounding and too loud to deal with (still too loud for me if it's all day driving). I've had plenty of loud mufflers in the past on various performance cars from US muscle to Porsche 911s and, in nearly every case, I ended up removing them and going back to oem. I find myself becoming more interested in this technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_ukLgsGEzs
I didn't see them on his site, but I believe Nick Forza can get them... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL, still have one dog she kept the other. She loved the car as much as me and she was in the garage all the time with me. Mental reason for leaving, not the cars.
