I was split watching both the F1 and NASCAR. Focused more on the F1 as I don't get to watch them as often.

Since I was watching at a place run by Jr's tire changer, acceptable result. I'm a Penske fan, so a bummer to see Brad K. not end it with a win.

Johnson and Ambrose, geash, if Ambrose didn't have bad luck in the pits, he'd have no luck at all. I watched his pit crew lose control of a tire at the 600. Ugh. Johnson still came in a top 10 spot anyway. @_@

JJ wins a fuel mileage race at Michigan.

that sentence pretty much sums up everything wrong with NASCAR right now :(

Chas, after that great Le Mans, how is it possible you can watch the roundy-round
    boys' WWE on wheels nonsense?

    LOL!

With some of those NASCAR announcers, there is plenty of noise.

Never in human history are so many words uttered and so little actually being said as
when the Waltrips, McReynolds, Petty, etc. go flapping on and on.

Just a reminder that this weekend both Sprint Cup and Nationwide will be racing on road courses.

I was watching practice on TV this afternoon and the commentators remarked how in the past " road ringers " would enter and steal a NASCAR win for their resumé but that is no longer the case. The NASCAR regulars have become so good at driving these cars on road courses the " ringers " don't stand much of a chance. That makes quite a statement for those that think all NASCAR drivers do is turn left.

There should be some really great racing from both series this weekend. For those that don't know what a NASCAR race on a road course is like, check out this race a few years back at Watkins Glen :D

Rooting for Tag at Road America. It's almost Trans Amish with Mustangs, Camaros and rain tires....

IMO this is always the best NASCAR race of the year, especially when JV is driving!

This "rain" delay is ridiculous. By the time they finish blowing the barely perceptible dampness off the track the real rain will have arrived.

For excitement, nothing beats the big cars on a genuine road course. Well done. NASCAR needs more road circuits....Road Atlanta?

The Sprint Cup and Craftsman Trucks do not run in the rain. Just in the past couple years the Nationwide decided to let them run in the rain and I think until today it has only happened once before in Montreal. I think they said only about 10 of the drivers in todays race had experience racing in the rain and most of those were in another series and the few that raced in Montreal.

That Tagliani dude was absolutely flying at the end.
