Im not a big hamilton or vettel fan as they sound so whinny on their radios, almost like babies. I loved kimis leave me alone comment that time. I just like massa cause I think he deserved that WC that he lost and still blame whoever it was who let hamilton pass! HA

I hope Massa pulls it off. The first two laps will likely determine his fate. If he can keep P1 for the first corner then the first lap, I'd say his odds go up dramatically. The car seems fast at this track.

    Bravo Felipe!

    Good call!

Nope, Massa's poor pace relative to his teammate sealed his fate - this race was just another example of the season-long trend of Bottas outperforming Massa. Massa led from the start, had pit stop priority, yet was still too slow to hold the advantage. No excuses, no blaming other cars, drivers, pit stops, etc.

If he has been re-invigorated by the switch to Williams and doesn't suck any more (acknowledging that he certainly did suck for the last 4 seasons at Ferrari), it is now more evident than ever that he is the slower of the two Williams drivers this season. There's a reason why Bottas has twice as many points as Massa so far in the 2014 season!

I love watching Massa finish in front of the Ferrari's and current out scoring one of their drivers.

The 'sucks' thread doesnt have much to talk about right now. Just look at the Kimi vs Massa points thus far. Given Fernando's compliment to Massa its hard to take anyone seriously who says Massa sucks. FA speaks.

He's the hero around here and the sucks thread people dont appear to have much of an argument. Not liking someone does not equal 'sucks'. Id love to see anyone of the 'sucks' intelligentsia argue with FA about his feelings for Massa. Beyond not giving it the time of day it would be a short and one sided conversation.

2 DNF's for Massa also must be accounted for in his battle with Bottas. I think highly of Bottas and if he out scores Massa - Good for him and Williams. Kimi is not worth the salary they are paying him. Bad bad bad decision and FA is laughing all the way to another team potentially, as Ferrari continue to produces less than satisfactory cars.

Oh yes, he was very complimentary - while Alonso was busting his ass trying to get the best out of inferior Ferrari for the last 4 years, here's what he said about Massa in that article:

So Alonso dragged the car to get results beyond where it should have been, and Alonso says Massa slacked off because the car wasn't super-competitive? That's Massa's excuse for struggling relative to Alonso?

With those kinds of friends, who needs enemies? Sounds like Alonso figures Massa doesn't suck, he just doesn't try very hard if the car isn't better than the others.

It was a major shot taken at Kimi in Brundle's opinion LOL. Oh where did he, Kimi, finish today in relation to Massa. Leave now and go to your haters thread. Enjoy that show. Oh and let me know when you confront FA about his words. Didnt know you were his manager and press agent LOL! Nice try but not this time.

You were the one who posted that link and thought that it showed Alonso being complimentary. It's not my fault if it was one of the most back-handed compliments ever! I have no need to "confront" FA, I think that quote is hilarious just as it is. I also don't see how on earth you'd interpret my comment as implying any inside knowledge, "manager and press agent"? Just read what he is quoted as saying, it's pretty plain - Massa slacked off because the car wasn't super-competitive.

Well done Felipe..... Out qualified both of your former teammates once again....

Enzo is Rollin over right about now... Guaranteed Massa would be crushing KIMI's times if he was still workin for "them"...

He has to be smiling from ear to ear!!!!!

Based on that logic, Bottas must be the new Senna!

(BTW, Had Enzo Ferrari still been alive then Massa's Ferrari career would have much shorter! ;) )

Yep. Put the Merc engine in Alonso's car and see what happens.

The old guard is sucking next to their younger counterparts. Button looks lost also. Massa is following his path of last year... being out qualified by his team mate.

    And, always with excuses.

Some of these guys need to retire. There needs to be some new blood with the fire in their bellies.

And Kimi.... I think a second retirement may be in order.
