    The 2-tone car (212 Berlinetta?), looks like a car that was in Denver a couple years ago that needed restoration... same original (I think) color combination.

    I'm trying to remember if the one here was RHD.




    If so, bernardo's colors look closer, anunakki's do not.

    Just FYI the lens itself could be a factor. I had a 70-300 once that was my first cheap zoom lens and the photos it produced weren't very good. Better lenses are expensive but there is a very clear quality difference.

    I recommend using the color temperature (white balance) slider in Picasa. Its under the tab that looks like the sun. Slide it to the right to cool it off or slide it to the left to warm it up. The "Warmify" button does not give you as much control as the white balance.

    Know any of the car's history?

    When it (or it's twin) was here, it needed to be cleaned up maybe painted...

    Was told it was the only 212 painted two-tone with those particular colors... but...

    Pics looks great but if you want to unleash the full power of your camera (I assume its a DSL) then install photo shop with camera raw or lightroom.

    Little hard to tell what you're looking for without posting choices. However, the saturation looked off, and some burning (selective color enhancement) along with some standard color correction might get you what you want.

    1st is yours, second is burned/dodged and color corrected.

    I don't know what camera you used, but on a cloudy day the white balance needs to be adjusted. I usually have my camera (D800) set to Auto WB and the photos sometimes need adjusting. I use Nikon Capture NX to process the RAW images.

    I am freelancer, so I am doing loads of color correction (almost) on daily basis. People are not aware of "natural" colors, so they are struggling with color accuracy when they open photo on computer.

    You need three parameters when you are correcting color: time when you took photo, weather conditions and accent colors.

    On this particular photo red color was oversaturated so first step was to cool down red. It is important to put all colors in balance, so when you force contrast/brightness/color balance you are getting steady result. Finally I went through Color Balance since so I can get desired atmosphere on the photo.

    Note that adjustments on photo I`ve made are not radical, but when you compare it to original you will get the point what was adjusted.
