Relatively easily as he was 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) tall. I'm considerably taller and have no real issues.

As we all know, Countach piloting is more about flexibility & fitness.

Definitely not photo-shopped. KangaROOS put out 2 posters of Payton & his Countach entitled "SWEETNESS", here is an original.

Perhaps there is something about a Countach that seems to beg the fenders to be sat on by its owners if they are major sports stars.

Gerhard Berger, Ferrari F1 driver on his Countach, below.

Earlier in the thread there are images of Andre Agassi & Keke Rosberg sitting on theirs too.

    Why?

    I wish I knew!

There is something not right. The angle of the shadow made by his right leg doesn't seem to match the angle of shadow made by the the car and his left leg doesn't seem to have left any shadow on the car at all.

It's a shame about those bumpers and skirts. Better reserve 75-100k to properly remove those US regulated atrocities and bring the car to what it should like like. Those things are not easy to remove, and leave gaping holes and a long search for factory original replacement front and rears.

And a slower injected car? The sound of those six Webers at full song is one of the highlights of the car. FI is great in my Toyota but on a lusty vintage V12 something was lost in translation for the purpose of emissions compliance.

I still wish the seller luck and hope they reach their expectations.
