Relatively easily as he was 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) tall. I'm considerably taller and have no real issues. As we all know, Countach piloting is more about flexibility & fitness. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Definitely not photo-shopped. KangaROOS put out 2 posters of Payton & his Countach entitled "SWEETNESS", here is an original. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is the other poster (which I have posted earlier in the thread). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Perhaps there is something about a Countach that seems to beg the fenders to be sat on by its owners if they are major sports stars. Gerhard Berger, Ferrari F1 driver on his Countach, below. Earlier in the thread there are images of Andre Agassi & Keke Rosberg sitting on theirs too. Why? I wish I knew! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wait a minute! This proclivity for sitting (or lying) on a Countach was started with the first one! Perhaps there's your answer... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is something not right. The angle of the shadow made by his right leg doesn't seem to match the angle of shadow made by the the car and his left leg doesn't seem to have left any shadow on the car at all. -mick
So Robert what was the story for that add? scam or the prices are moving so fast that they become obsolete before the add ends ? It says the add was by error
Looks to have an Alpine CD player. Is it possible it was factory as opposed to this one?: Lamborghini Countach 1988 5 OE Alpine Radio 7284L Extremely RARE | eBay
It's a shame about those bumpers and skirts. Better reserve 75-100k to properly remove those US regulated atrocities and bring the car to what it should like like. Those things are not easy to remove, and leave gaping holes and a long search for factory original replacement front and rears.
Definitely not with these toasters, for that amount you can buy one overseas without these ugly addons
And a slower injected car? The sound of those six Webers at full song is one of the highlights of the car. FI is great in my Toyota but on a lusty vintage V12 something was lost in translation for the purpose of emissions compliance. I still wish the seller luck and hope they reach their expectations.
