I searched the threads for the pricing calculator and wonder if this has changed recently. Wanted to make an offer on a vehicle with the following details:
    2008 model
    Yellow
    No stripe
    No BATA
    No US Carbon
    9800 miles
    Tech fabric interior
    Asking is 180K

Assuming the car is in excellent condition, What's a fair price on this car?
Using the formula I've seen used on fchat, I'm coming up with a price of around 160K, which seems very low considering what they're asking, but then again I don't have any info on recent scud sales for comparison.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to answer here or PM with advice.

Pricing depends very much on where you are, UK Scud prices have risen £20k in the last 6 months.

Ive noticed the increase in asking prices in the US over the past year as well, so I'm curious if the calculation model has changed in that time, and if so, what would be the newer model?

$180K is way too high given the color, no stripe, no alcantara, no bata, no US carbon (a big negative). Don't take this the wrong way (I'm sure the scud is nice), but from a pure resale standpoint you could not pick a worse configuration.

    $160K is a fair offer.

Thanks for the info. No offense taken. I'm not as concerned about resale and to be honest prefer the non Alcantara, stripeless look. Just trying to gauge what a fair offer would be. 160k seems to be consistent with the pricing calculator. Any others with input/advice?

Agree that $180k, even $170k, is optimistic for this car.

That said, I'm ready for my scud to go up £20K in value!

It's upholstered kick panels (vs raw unfinished aluminum).

I haven't seen any increase in prices in the US. There is always a car or two that sells above or below the market.

Cars like this one have sold at $160k +/-

For $180s you could have gotten "premium" color and 2009 and stripe and carbon package over the past 6 months or so.

I bought mine for $188K in November
2009 Scuderia Red w/ gold stripe & wheels
    Full Cf interior and alcantara
    8000k miles
I'm sure I overpaid a little for the car, but honestly I forget about that every time I take her to the track :)
