It's a time tested adage that applies to a myriad of applications,

If this was enforced, then 90% of the public would not be allowed to drive.

If its like 80% of cars it'll go to Bob and Luigis car shop around the corner.. And the carfax will be forever clean.

Agree! If 90% of drivers were taking the train, the world would be a better place.

So the only people who should drive Ferrari's are those that never make any mistakes? - That's going to make them rarer to see on the road than a Bugatti Royale!

As for the basketball player running out of fuel and being criticised for it, so it's a known fact that the fuel gauge was not faulty then? - Mmmm...... I suspect not!

People need to drive. They don't need to vote yet the politicians in this country are living proof more than half of us are too stupid to do that properly. I'll be happy letting the idiots drive if you can keep them home on election day.

Serious? the only reason you heard about those examples is because they are Ferraris.

Think of the thousands of dumb **** moves people do everyday driving.

Dumb asses that cant drive still buy Ferraris. Its just no one cares when you smash a honda or a F150 or run out of gas in your POS car.

Do it in a Ferrari it makes the news.

I drove my TR to HEB and back this morning without serious incident (but with the usual attention) -- why isn't that in the news? ;)

Any nitwit that runs out of gas in ANY car probably shouldn't be driving it. I EXPECT this from someone in a Camry or Kia. I see cluelessness on a daily basis in mass market cars. A Ferrari.. you should know better in a car capable of such performance. Should being the operative word. OTOH nothing says more money than brains poseur than "how do I turn it on" and what's that sound.. and why is that little pump icon red"? It's like giving a child a loaded M16 to shoot balloons at the fair.

But two accidents in a week? I guess the warm weather brings out more use and with that we see more accidents. Just odd to see so many making the news in such a short period of time.

Given the (in) accuracy of some Ferrari fuel gauges running out of gas isn't that difficult.

Explains why Ferrari drivers also tend to speed. Those gauges have to be a least 10-15 mph off ;)

I guess I better go fill my tank cause I wanted to see if the red warning light goes on when things are getting lean like the other Ferrari's did.
