I'm tempted! Summer's here and it's hot! Plus, having a black leather interior in the Florida sun doesn't make it any easier. Or dare I store the car away for the season much like our Northern Brothers do during the winter?

Maybe a pair of high quality, low-nap sheepskins could come to the rescue, much as they did for my TR8 many years ago. :)

    Any thoughts?

I personally love sheepskins. I had them on couple of my planes and they are definitely cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The only issue here is 348 seats are narrow already so putting thick sheepskin over them will make even worse.

I have always put them in my planes as well. Make darn sure you get the real stuff. The synthetic is nothing but a sweat fest.

Any worries about damage to the leather underneath during the summer???

True. Mine doesn't have the extra seat cushion like the later models. However, I could add a layer of padding underneath the 'skins.

Good point about protecting the leather. So, make sure the skins have a soft backing material.

Haha. Period correct is right. Sheepskins reek of the 1980s and slant nose Porsches, amiright?

    U r right.

These have no place in a F car.

Blimey...can't you see how ridiculous the idea is?

Well the ones in the picture look pretty good ;)
Always an option, would cover the wear on my driver's side bolster.
    ...but not this year.

I was able to fix the a/c on my 348ts, it would blow below 40 at the vents. Still, if the car sat in the mid day sun for a couple of hours, the cockpit was unbearable.

However, I just sold the car.
