Exactly... His 100k statement is laughable.

 

Not that 100k is realistic but I can see John H's thinking. With these frickin things it's one thing leads to another. You can get this stuff done for 10k or so BUT we all know by time the car get home, you've spent 30 or 40k.

 

I recall some saying that some '87 QV's left the factory w/skirts. These could be orig.

 

No idea what happened to the grey 5000S on ebay. It suddenly disappeared from ebay. Someone identified a UK-based LHD car that was the right spec, but when I last saw that car it was very scrappy, and the photos showed a car in far better condition. SOmeon suggested that the car had been restored, put on ebay and the seller was made an offer they couldn't refuse and stopped the auction? My only query was that the reg number looked wrong, but I couldn't see it very clearly.

Does any one know if the white Koenig Countach still exist and if so, are there any new images of it?

 

I saw it last week when I was over to pick a couple of parts for my car.

The side skirts are off the car and it's a bare shell being restored to original.

I have a few pictures somewhere that I'll post up once I locate them.

I would suggest somewhere in Germany. How many are there? 13?

 

Photo from magazine Superauto Illustrated July 1985 : "Countach salute! Although they've usually been in short supply, the $ 99 500 automobiles today are more available than ever."

I count 12 of them, and probably 6 Jalpas at the back.

Someone sent this pic to me, looks like a period photo in Singapore. We don't have any left on this island but the ex agent Hong Seh Motors kept up to three Anniversary, 2 red & 1 white unreg winged cars in the warehouse until a couple of years ago. There were F50s, F40s, Daytonas etc

Is that Lambo sticker on the bonnet an option?
