And finally this pic shows the electronic vacuum gauge and a separate temp / humidity gauge ........ note the resin saturating in the background.

Either the Moto-T guys swapped the left rears for the rights or the driver side rear tire is mounted backwards (based on tread pattern of R888s).

Gorgeous! Excellent job Tim, it isn't far off. Moto works on the most amazing cars.

It's been noted the tires where mounted incorrectly.

Actually 888s can be run backwards in the dry. Toyo even suggests it to even out the wear on a heavily cambered car. That being said, obviously there is nothing to "even out" on a brand new tire, but I'm just saying it wouldn't be tragic to drive it like that unless it was going through standing water.

MT put the old front clam on and went for a gentle trundle. Still lacking badges, Gurney flap etc and they won't go until final paint prep and we get the new clam finished, but nice to finally have something approaching a finished car, or at least the end is very much in sight.

Great to see it on the road. Looks "almost" like any other F40 but we know it's NOT!

Exactly my thought even though right now the car is short of a few distinctive elements such as gurney flap, front spoiler etc, hich makes me consider adding either the decals or white rounders as on this Michelotto car. Thoughts?

If I were you I would replicate the look your specific car had when it was racing anything else would just be a knock-off imo.

I am thinking just the roundels rather than full sponsors stickers. As raced it had white rectangles and personally I prefer the round.

I don't think the difference would be too drastic and like you I would also prefer the round. Also I did not think all the sponsors stickers took so much away from the clean/unmolested beauty. Good call.

The amount and type of stickers in this pic is perfection. The first one, no, too many sponsor decals on the rocker panel under the doors.

I think the picture with no stickers is perfection, just my thoughts

Ditto, same here! BUT if he did do stickers, less is better IMO.

I like the round and, just like the stripe of the CS, it sets it apart from the crowd and tells something of it's heritage.

I think to anyone who knows f40s they will tell straight away this is no ordinary f40 (if there is such a thing) but with no stickers and the fact that the car will be road legal I think stickers ruin the cars lines, less is more in my opinion with any car but obviously it is something that is down to the owners preference, it is a dilemma I would love to have :)
