Is it a real jack?

    I'm not sure how precisely the jacks were made but the ears you mention have a longer radius at the top than my original jack. Also the snout that the round rubber bumper mounts on is not as long as mine by a 1/4 inch. The snout on the Ebay jack doesn't protrude at all. Also the jack handle on my original jack doesn't have the welding buildup the Ebay jack has. Buyer beware! Not to difficult to turn a $50 jack into a $1500 or more Dino jack. Not saying this is the case here but there is the possibility.

    Without dimensions its difficult to say but it certainly looks accurate to me. As racerboy9 observed the handle has been welded onto the drive spindle possibly because it had broken from past use. Easily fixed with your expertise.
    The lugs on the pivot arm do look a little different but there may be variations in the design.

    so what is this jack "converted " from ? what car was it originally supplied with ?

    Probably an Alfa Romeo Jack, chopped, channeled, and lowered :)
