    I use Living Earth and SailFlow apps on my iPhone check current and forecast winds for RC plane flying.

    Nice. I use to use a black & white version that didn't have as many functions.
    *if you click the speed you can adjust it to knots (kn)

    Is there a way to select altitude? I did 3 flights today and the wind on this map does not reflect what's going on out there right now.

    Doesn't look like it.. click "Earth" at bottom left gives popup with clickable options but the source remains fixed "@Surface" so I don't think it's aimed at being ultimate flight planner for higher altitudes necessarily.

    I've been playing with it..... I think it's just animated nothingness. I don't think it's representing the wind at any altitude.... even surface is opposite what's being reported right now.

    It's almost like the map is flipped the wrong way... It' literally "opposite".

    I just added it to my little ipad next to my radar. I played with it over Q100 enroute to Nassau. Im a visual type of pilot....it kinda solidify s seeing a nice little movie.
