He'll definitely be proud of Germany's progression at the WC. I wonder if Lucas Podolski is in touch with Corinna.

The family and Sabine Kehm have made it pretty clear that there will be no more official communiqué for "the foreseable future", so you won't have any official news.
As for gossip, the kind of news coming "from a man who saw a guy who spoke with the cousin of the guy who knows the janitor" (or whatever) for the time being, none.

What kind of ****ing comment is that?

Have you actually followed any of the recent updates?

    Short summary:

Out of the Grenoble hospital, into a rehab facility that will take a LONG time.

Able to breath on his own too.

But yeah, lets just ****ing put him down.

Well, one way to read that comment is in regards to Kehm's "no comment" policy.

At the rate they are going we might not hear from MS until he dies. In like 40 years.

All the updates we have received since about April were all down to somebody else leaking something and Kehm's reaction to it. This despite the fact, that there were actually some improvements and somewhat good news (or at least news better than silence) to report.

That said, I do expect to get some better news as time progresses. Actually within this year.

    No.

Simply a stupid, utterly classless, dumb-ass ****ing comment.

Personally, I think it warrants a ban on grounds of pure stupidity, but I guess there's nothing in the terms that prevents complete ****ing idiots posting.

Can't tell you how pissed I was last night when I first read that crap. :(

I know at least two people who have visited Michael. Both are former drivers. I also know that at least a dozen people have seen him. Some news will leak out when that many people get to see him. It is just the nature of things.

I'd not be too hard on this comment. I believe it was said with sarcasm and with no ill intent.

Thank You Drive550 ,you are correct ......If any of the people who commented on my statement knew me and how I feel about Michael you would know it was just a bad way of showing my frustration with the whole MS situation. Iam sorry if I offended anyone and wish nothing short of a decent recovery so Michael can enjoy his family and the rest of his life.
I guess Iam selfish in that I want to see my hero as before his accident and right NOW. I also know that it might not ever happen and Iam very sad because of it. Again my apologies to ALL Michael Schumacher fans worldwide..

You gotta look at your hero right now as a human being. He's already retired from racing so he doesn't need to recover to a point where he'll race like he once had. At this point he's just a guy who needs to recover enough to enjoy his family.

I think we don't hear much because in the end it is best for the parties involved in doing whatever they can to make that happen. Paparazzi distractions are nothing but a destructive force, mostly in a situation we'd all want handled privately, whether fame was in play or not. Best to shut the world out and focus on what is important.

The justice is now closing in fast, it seems; time for "Kagemusha" to pack and ask for asylumn in a country which does not have an extradition agreement with Switzerland...
(short translation of the relevant news for our english-speaking readers here enclosed)

Dossier médical de Schumacher : l'ordinateur du voleur repéré

The I.P address used by the person who stole the medical report of Michael Schumacher has been localized in a Swiss helicopter leasing company, according to what the district attorney from the Grenoble court has confirmed to Agence France Presse today, Monday, July 7th; this is a confirmation of an information already published by the “Dauphiné libéré”.
According to what this newspaper has published, this company was for some time considered for the transfer of the german Grand Prix driver between Grenoble and Lausanne, and would therefore have received a copy of the medical report.

The name of the company has not been made public, nor has the name of the stealer, whom it is not yet known if he has been positively identified. The Grenoble court has renounced the case, and given charge of it to the Swiss justice.

Yes but I wouldn't hold my breath for the Swiss authorities expediting this guy.

    Firstly, thanks again Nero.

I think you mean 'extraditing', not 'expediting'!..... ;)

Although, I'd have thought the Swiss would be more than happy to expedite his extradition! Care to expand on why you think not?

Yeah, that's what I meant. I have to be less grammatically correct to not look suspect :)

Just my guess based on other cases like Polanski or the more recent financial whistle blowers. I could be wrong.

:) Fair enough!.... Multiple language skills was one of the reasons they focussed on Switzerland in the first place IIRC. ;)

Interesting. Certainly, the Swiss do seem to enjoy a, let's say, 'contrarian' view of accusations of crimes. Which is fine I guess, independent nation and all that. But, in this particular case I suspect the worldwide backlash if they try and protect this ******* may be a little too much(?) Extradition to the USA is one thing, France is surely another?

    Hmm, it may be a language/translation issue, but re-reading Neros post seems to suggest the French may not be asking for extradition, but rather the Swiss to prosecute this guy directly;

I have no idea, but suspect Swiss medical privacy laws may be even more onerous than those in France(?). Hopefully, this guy gets to rot his filthy life away in a prison somewhere. Don't much care if it's France or Switzerland as long as he's (she's?) caught and held accountable.

Nope, Ian; we french love to prosecute, to charge, even to guillotine in the old days, but it doesn't seem possible this time for us to be involved: the theft has been apparently commited in Switzerland by - probably - a swiss citizen, this for a person now hospitalised in Switzerland.
We do not have a case, this is why the french justice has renounced it this morning.
