Not trying to burst a bubble but I can't see front side repeaters on your car. Could be the pic but if theres no lights the front has had paint work.
Thank you, I like the NART Story so much, so I put the sticker on, sorry, not correct I know, but... Glad that you like it.
Pop! Well, that stinks. Let me rephrase: represented as having original paint (except valences). Is there a way it could have come without them?
It's about time I added to this thread. I tried to attach a picture, but it would not upload. I have an all red (no black except the louvers aft of the air boxes) BBi, 49171, built in late 1983, and registered as an '84. Got it in 2008. I have the stock wheels with new looking, but very old TRXs. For daily driving it has 15" wheels mounted with BF Goodrich Radial T/As. The interior is all original and in good shape except for the dash droop over the glove box. I believe it still has the original paint - when I read what Paul Newman said about the rivets on the sides of the louvers I went out to check and they are still black - and it shines nicely.
#28059 rhd 1979 bb red/ cream Shabby chic paint but totally rebuilt engine running gear, very original car Image Unavailable, Please Login
2 horsies side-by-side. Love the gold wheels, makes the car look so vintage. Those 4 legged horses are way more expensive to maintain than a 4 wheeled horse. A friend has 8 horses, when I listen to the expense on vets, hay, ect it is staggering. his wife loves them and he has 9 cars, so it is a nice balance.
I bought 35537 last year & shipped it home, I have ordered a full set of suspension bushes and a new windscreen (cracked), so that should keep me busy for a couple of months, the car drives well, but need some interior sorting out
Interesting they filled them, must have been coverted with the big ugly brick type repeaters and then had them removed, the OEM front hood I have as a spare in primer has the repeater holes pre drilled.
Just purchased #44723. Stunning condition. Ferrari classiche certified. Can't wait to get her out and see what she can do! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I recently purchased chassis 24881, a 1979 512 BB that was sent to Charles Pozzi and immediately sold to a wealthy Mexican who saw it for sale while on vacation in France. The Boxer was flown to Mexico City where it has lived with the original owner until I bought it last month. The Blu Sera Metallic paint and tan interior are completely original and the car has 13,409 original kilometers. No federalization or modifications were required in Mexico, so the French delivery specifications haven't been modified. The Ferrari badge was stolen from the grill while at US Customs in Laredo, Texas, so I could use some advice on finding a correct replacement. I'm thrilled and will posting and sharing more. You can add me to the list. I have a 1982 512BBi, chassis number 40729. It's red/red with black leather. I bought it twelve years ago from Germany, it's been in France for the last 10 years. Fun fact: the car could be seen for years in older issues of Auto Motor and Sport in the subscription section.

Holy crap!!! That's the twin of my car. '79 BB512, Blu Sera & tan. I like the clear French spec indicator lights. Contact "Newman" on this site, he can hook you up with a badge. Oddly enough, mine was missing when I got it as well. Beautiful car, if I do say so myself. Congrats!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd love a Boxer meet-up in Southern California. Cars and Coffee is fine, but let's drive somewhere afterwards. My car is out for service now, but when it returns, I'm open for driving anywhere. I will probably drive it to Monterey for car week. It took the first owner 35 years to do 13k kilometers, I'll do that in the next two years. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
