    The event is every first Sunday of the month starting at 8AM at the Blackhawk Plaza (Blackhawk Auto Museum) in Danville, CA. By far one of the best car shows in the Bay Area.

    Yeah was a great event! Such a wide variety of cars....the place is packed by 8AM, amazing! Can't wait till my 2015 458 arrives so I can represent! :)

    I've gone to most of the Blackhawk C+C but missed the last one and so missed that Stratos. Was it real or a replica? I don't think I've ever seen one in person.

    BLACKHORSE (Rob) and I spoke with the owner (Paul) extensively on Sunday.

    It is a fanatically build replica using body panels copied from an original car. Source for the body was a company in Britain. I believe they provided the frame too. All the rest has been carefully hand built/manually sourced by the owner.

    The engine is an Alfa Romeo 6 cylinder adapted from a front-wheel drive Alfa. The car is supposed to have a Dino 6 cylinder, but needless to say, a little difficult to source.

    Without question, for me, it was THE car at this month's C&C.

    Blackhawk event is the first Sunday of the month, so last weekend was the one for November. I'll guess that December 7th will be the next one.
