Life in prison is a bit harsh, rather a very big fine
suspect you guys chopped more heads off than us Brits over the years! Ok, gotcha. Makes sense. Hopefully, the Swiss will do the right thing and throw the book at the miscreant. Ian
Maybe I'm over reacting just a little..... And, if the report is true, I suspect the Swiss helicopter ambulance company implicated may be a little short of clients going forward. Which is a pretty good outcome...... Ian
Compared to some public backlash they got over Polanski and breach of banking secrecy laws, this case is small potatoes. Apparently the whole extradition part is off the table anyways since we're now talking about a purely Swiss based case. Sounds more like a heavy fine or brief jail time.
I understand what you mean. Since things are not going like they want about Michael's recovery and combined to the fact that they want to preserve their privacy, we will never get news ... I also understand from your sad emoticon that you don't find this situation enjoyable. Wow! Fast_ian and Bas Jaski. Can I respectfully ask you to RELAX and REFRAIN FROM THE IRRESISTIBLE TEMPTATION TO BEHAVE LIKE TEENAGE GROUPIES INDOCTRINATED IN THE michael schumacher RELIGION? To the Moderators: I think these guys should be banned for a little while for their disrespectful and overly aggressive manners ... What happened to schmacher is sad but it does not give them the right to bend rules and hit out of the track everybody they consider as an opponant to their Schumacher Dogma/WetDream Championship ( I understand that they surely try to emulate their idol but come on ... Get a life and show some Savoir-Vivre ... Somewhere I refuse to believe that michael scumaker only attracks that kind of supporters ... ) It is correct to be sorry and to suffer from this bad accident BUT please, try to be respectful with the guys on this forum, even if they do not share your cute ( silly ) dogma ... LOL. How can you be so sure about Fiorano57 intents? RELAX, and before shooting, please, ask and do your homeworks ... But one thing is sure: michael schumacher will die. I am 100% sure aout this one. Will he recover 100% from his ski accident? I am almost 100% that he will ... NOT. Metallica: Sad but True ... Exactly, this is how it should have been understood in the first place, but some people here have tremendous difficulties to reason in an appropriate manner ... Simply fascinating. Simply a stupid, utterly, ... stubborn comment from you Fast_ian ... You refuse to see it in a different way. Did you ask Fiorano57? Certainly not ... Can't tell you how I am actually pissed reading your ... LOL! Can I ask you if making a visual representation of you God Schumacher is forbibben like some prophet in some religion? I am more and more afraid of your ways of thinking ... RELAX and/or GET A PRESCRIPTION ... Great minds think alike! I am 100% sure about this one! LOL! Only common sense. I am almost 100% sure about this one too ... To live and let live. This thread's ambiance is spoiled by a few people who decided to appropriate for themselves Michael Schumacher: Michael is now theirs and they also decided how everthing in his story should be handled. This is also very sad ... I wish a peaceful recovery for Michael and his family.
Phew a tender subject for sure, all we do know in summary to the above is, all who survive external hazards to their biological functioning eventually die from biological aging.
Thanks. I know becoming a Swiss citizen isn't easy. Do you think that Michael chooses not to naturalize or can't?
Taking offense at a comment another user makes does not entitle you to call that user names. "complete ****ing idiot" is not acceptable discourse on this forum. 7-day ban.
And let me add this for Fast_Ian when he returns: Your name has been mentioned in the Moderator forum a total of 34 times now and you've been issued infractions and temporary bans in the past for your personal attacks. If you simply cannot control your own behavior, then I suggest you steer clear of the topics that have repeatedly brought you to a boiling point. There comes a time when enough is simply enough.
Dunno. Naturalization isn't easy, then again, as long as he is a resident, that's really all he needs: Living there and enjoying the lower taxes. It's not like he needs a Swiss work permit or feels a need to vote. So why bother? The family is probably also still proud to be German and don't want to give that up (not sure whether that's now a requirement or not). You definitely don't want to loose your Euro passport unless you really have to.
Thanks again. These distinctions are new to me. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfCtkixT6pM&sns=em[/ame]
Pictures emerged on FB today shows a smiling Corinna at her horse ranch in Switzerland. Hopefully things are looking good..
Swiss company plays down involvement in Schumacher scandal > F1 News > Grandprix.com The inquiry seems narrowing down indeed the helicopter company could be the Federal Air Rescue company from Switzerland, the REGA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rega_(air_rescue) Rgds
Ouch! The REGA has an exceptional reputation and is the pride and joy of the Swiss. A sad day for the country if one of REGA's employees did this.
Do you think more updates would have diffused this situation, given his status, I think it could have, and in no way do I mean any disrespect to the family and there wishes. I know how many people were concerned about my recent shock tumor op, and I said to the other half, imagine if you had told them nothing or very little, what do you think they would assume.
Without a doubt. The medical report is only interesting because the family has not been forthcoming. I still believe there is a reasonable middle ground between a feeding frenzy and the current news blockade: A brief statement on a monthly basis by Kehm and/or the doctors would suffice. The family doesn't need to be involved in this. Progress is slow at best so a monthly update cycle would suffice.
Yes, I agree; should it be really one of REGA's employees, it would be shame on the guy! He should also be prosecuted for the damages he caused to the impeccable reputation of the company... Rgds
REGA reacted and filed an investigation with the Zurich authorities. This was required to get the ball rolling which might either clear REGA of wrong doing or nail the suspect. Interesting development.
I guess it is only a matter of days now, perhaps even hours...'till the suspect is found and convicted. Rgds
Found possibly, convicted not in a long shot. People don't realize that this is Switzerland. Anything takes a lot of time here.
