That's part of the fun. Ferrari will fix the issue and all owners will be better for it. ANY new model of ANY brand has teething issues.
Worse than that, look to whom the hat tip is given for the story on jalopnik This Seems To Be The World's First LaFerrari Fire
Unsurprising. The guy is pathetic. Most of us are slightly disappointed to hear that a LF had this kind of issue but this is like Christmas morning for Erik. Can you imagine his excitement upon hearing the news? He couldn't contain himself, he had to report it to every blog/forum possible. He clearly lives a very fulfilling life
You were given a 1-day ban before for personal attacks. Following that, everyone here was given a warning that a clear line had been drawn when it came to personal attacks/insults in the LaFerrari threads. I don't know what we have to do to make it clear to those of you who like to post in these threads that FerrariChat will not tolerate personal attacks against our other users. Feel free to disagree with whomever you want when it comes to the cars, but stop making it a personal issue. 1-month ban for you.
Sheesh, who cares if Erik submitted it to Jalopnik? If he didn't, a dozen others would have 30 seconds later. I think we should all be more angry at Ferrari for building a supercar with a $1.5 million plus price tag that catches fire. This may be the first, but it certainly won't be the last.
Really? Haha that is a new low... Do you think you gain any respect by acting like that? This is just one of many incidents where you've gone out of your way to spread and bring negative attention to Ferrari, deserved or undeserved. Mods: Isn't it best to stop the source of the bickering - i.e. banning the provocateur? Great shot of the Bianco LaF. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You clearly have me confused with someone who does not like Ferraris. Ten years of active and productive participation as a subscriber to the FChat forum would not have occurred otherwise. If my motives were untoward I do think the moderation team would have taken issue with that long ago. The fact that some members choose to take issue with my passion for McLaren is not my fault, nor my care. Yes, I did think it would be funny if the Jalopnik story on the LaFerrari fire was credited to me (even though it probably shouldn't have been) and they were kind to oblige. If you can't get a laugh out of that, then you probably need to lighten up and back away from the keyboard a while. >8^) ER
As anyone might expect, there are plenty of LaFerrari fanboys posting here. Since McLaren is also in the business of producing exciting cars, it's not surprising to find that there are also McLaren fanboys present. Neither are being provocateurs by having and expressing opinions and preferences that differ from those of the other. It only becomes an issue that requires moderator action when one or the other decides that the best way to "win" the discussion is to start taking personal shots at those users with whom they disagree. When you start calling our users "weak and pathetic" (yes, we saw your post before you edited it), then we are forced to step in and put an end to that type of behavior. Don't think that we will sit idly by while you chase away our other users simply because you disagree with them. Since you quickly edited you post, we will let this one go. Be careful and be respectful.
I will continue to be respectful, although I disagree with your view on the situation (but that's another story)... I am well aware of mods being able to view all versions of a post. To keep in line with the thread - here's another pic of the Czech LaF. Image Unavailable, Please Login
