Took delivery of my 458 spider about six months ago. Was supposed to get a model of my car but nothing so far. Was wondering how long it normally takes?
Actually quite variable from reports here. Mine took almost 3 months. Others have reported getting it within weeks.
took quite awhile for mine maybe 5 - 6 months 1/43 scale by BBR Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I ordered my 2014 Italia in June 2013 and took delivery of car in Aug 2013. My model arrived 8 months later after I had followed up with dealer several times. I was told by dealer that those that ordered much after me had gottten the models earlier, as they are now shipping them out much quicker, but I came under the old regime that took several months. So by contrast my Italia was flown in to me barely two months after I placed my order, but it's miniature took a whopping 8 months!
Mine came within 3 months of delivery. You should call your dealer and have them check for you. It's a nice touch.
Thanks so do I To be honest I was a bit surprised they actually provided a tri coat yellow model, I figured they'd just send a regular Giallo one Ya just never know
Well surprise surprise look what arrived this morning Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My model arrived today! It brought a big smile to my face. I had almost forgot about it--I took delivery seven months ago and thought I must have just fallen in the cracks. It's a little ironic that I have the 'small' car because it's big brother is in the shop for the next week or so.
I don't know how you all were able to get the clear plastic display cover off. Mine seems to be glued to the leather base.
My cover isn't glued either, just a snug fit. But it's a good practice to hold the case supporting the bottom. Otherwise if you hold it just from the top, the model can fall to the floor
Sounds like your cover is cursed. Mine comes right off. To break the curse say: I love my Ferrari 3x. That should do it. Best.
