    Flew into Love Field Monday in which I hopped in my rental car and drove to Austin for customer visits yesterday there and in San Antonio. With a
    drive back to Ft Worth last night, I made a few stops in which every place I stopped, the people were extremely nice and VERY friendly. Even the
    drivers were overly courteous, letting me into lanes and not tail gating if I was going a tad slow (80+) in the fast lane.

    With today and tomorrow to go here, not sure I'm looking forward in going back to all the A-Holes in Kalifornia who do not have the sense of
    pride in the state as I see with the people here in Texas!

    Well, Peter, I'd say you were kind of fortunate, or you actually know how to drive. If you were doing 80ish then you're doing well to keep up with the traffic flow.

    I will say people are more courteous in driving manners usually on the highways/freeways outside of the cities.

    That was some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten, casual and yummy!

    For lunch yesterday, I went to Babe's Chicken Dinner House in which about every twenty minutes, the wait staff lined up and did the Hokee-Pokee, kinda nuts!

    Babe's is by far one of the best chicken places, seems like you hit the core food stops except maybe Tex-Mex. Honestly most of the Tex-Mex places will be good, there are a couple more high end that do a couple more seafood and quality steak recipes.

    Had a customer meeting in Tyler, TX yesterday and encountered the same. Very nice town, really friendly people, great barbecue (Stanley's).

    I'm not going to clown my fellow Californians, but I do enjoy all of the different cities I visit. I do like it where I live too though (warts and all).
