Cams and buckets got a micro polish. Carbs rbuilt and parts removed and yellow zinc plated.
All new rod ends. New springs. Rebuilt hubs. All new gaskets and seals. Just about every nut and bolt got re plated. All new oil lines and water lines even the ones that run to the front of the car. Flushed out oil cooler. Starter and alt rebuilt. Ceramic coated headers. Lots of powder coating. And lots of cursing, tight spots, cuts and bruises but it was all worth it.

This is what it is about not the value of the car, great to see a good rebuild.

All 3 were delivery mileage. Was that 3 cars for 1 collector? If so why would anyone collect 3 same cars and not drive them a bit... all sold apparently anyhow..
Some cars in this collection are simply astonishing but there are what appears to be a lot of redundant cars.

The shocks were strong and only 12k on them so no need to rebuild just a good cleaning

Thanks! Its so much better with pics :)

That site has a contact from NZ & some photos are from various dealers in Singapore which i know exactly who cos i almost bought that green gt3. Anyway not to discredit the site as Singapore exports a lot of used cars so its not surprising that pictures are posted elsewhere. Eg. A Czech dealer was also marketing some of those exotics as well.

The major collection belongs to the ex Ferrari & Lambo agent whom of course had access to plenty of very special cars in the last few decades. Those cars were all wrapped away as investments & they had a few of each F40 & 50s as well in the hey days.

With regards to the white Countach i posted earlier, the owner has a few more pictures & plenty of other 70-80s sports cars plus a couple of older ones including a DB5.

I would keep the black black and silver, which one did you just do the engine work on, that one I would keep.

I just did the black black silver but I can do the same thing to the other one. When it is a passion it is no big deal to do especially when I can do all the work myself.

I guess I would keep the black interior one then and sadly let the other one go, but hang on to it as long as you can because I still think there is room to grow

Did you have any issues with the alignment after replacing all of the suspension joints?

IMHO, as long as you have the resources, with your passion I wouldn't even consider selling one until both were gone through. The good news is that you can dive into the longer term jobs without having to worry about being down for a season. Every time I'm doing work on my car I always end up missing at least one gathering I wish I could have attended.

Looking as your cars independently bring back different memories for me. They both look great.
