Looks identical to the one that was at McLaren Toronto last week!
This will get a few people fired up. Looks like the P1 belongs to a young guy: First McLaren P1 Delivered to Canada
Anyone know what he does? His name is Mahdiar Ahmadi, and yes he certainly is quite young. Reside's in Vancouver.
Guys, when you see a nice and expensive car, just focus on the car. Don't try to find out anything about the owner, especially how he makes money. There is something called privacy.

interesting. Had no idea there was one in town, unless you count the one belonging to FMoV though, I suppose it could be an out of town car, too
Saw an F12 in south surrey today. Dark red. First thought it was a new corvette then realized what it was. Think my heart started beating faster.
This is a good news. Now they need to increase the limit in Vancouver too. I have said this many times, most accident happened because of inattention and inexperience. Unfortunately, those who drive according to or below the speed limit, are inattention drivers : driving while using phone, drinking coffee, searching bag, inputting navigation, etc. I have seen many, drive very slow to catch a red traffic light, so they can use the phone when stopping. And the empire (ICBC) needs to educate young drivers by sharing knowledge of driving experience instead of regulations. Some of the inexperience that mostly end-up with accident : Slow means safe : (This is totally wrong. Driving slow while others are fast is just as dangerous as speeding while others are slow). Never yield on merging signal. Turning right from left lane, wait for pedestrian, and block the intersection : (when you turn right, you have to move like you are going to park the car, and turn from the right lane). Driving at speed limit on the left lane all the way : This will make others making aggressive take over. Irregular speed change : Driving fast, suddenly slow down, then very fast again, for no reason. Excessive use of honks.
They need to look at raising in city speed limits as well. There are so many areas with a 50km/h posted limit that is ridiculous!!
I had a feeling you'd like this news. Speeding isn't the problem like you say dumb drivers who shouldn't be on the road is the problem. Obviously the current graduated license system isn't working. I say make everyone get a class one license as it actually takes skill to get one.
It's about time this is a nice starting FIRST step. More needs to be done to address the unsafely low speeds in some parts of Greater Vancouver..and even the introduction of variable speed limits that climb when there is no traffic such as late at night or really early in the AM. It could be tried on certain stretches of highway 1 / 99 etc
