Not doubting any one here but there are a lot of dealers and owners that claim that their car has original paint. Upon inspection it usually in not the case. Just saying...

Just got the new SCM "2014 Summer/Fall" Price Guide......

I think most of us can say if we could find a Countach for the prices listed in this issue, we'd be jumping all over it.

Hey the 25th is worth more than a QV or a 400S! Who buy this garbage paperback if it is not to have interesting toilet paper in the bathroom?

This is what my friend said about that Bonhams' Countach:

"The Countach auctioned in this thread I inspected in 2008, here is a pic I took of it at Goodwood that year. I am a huge originality freak and would rather have worn paint and patina over a juke box restoration. Even I would not have put up with how scruffy this car was back then. I wonder if the invoices supplied pertain to any cosmetic work since I saw it?

Whilst I cannot say for sure, the miles it had done were inconsistent for the condition of the car, even by Lamborghini standards. It was a car unloved. Let's hope the new owner is hopefully not afraid to throw some money at it."

I was concerned with the add as it says RED exterior and TAN interior in the description. I could not get the seller to respond via E-Bay...hope it was just a typo and someone did not get scammed??

 

Don't think its a scam. The seller has records with selling autos unless his ID was hacked. Seems maybe his pricing research was a little off...
