If I was a betting man, I still wouldn't put money on either! I couldn't even guess. Either way won't be a surprise to me.

Well it's surprising what difference one DNF can make, I'll stick with my original choice Ham.

That's assuming his run of bad luck has stopped, and yes I know his Q error was solely his fault.

Its more likely to be decided by car failures IMO but all things being equal (and no car failures) then, as results to date suggest, Hamilton is faster.

Let's add a poll to the thread so we can put some overall numbers on this. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The speed between them is not big. Hamilton has had one or two races this year where he was untouchable though. That said, Rosberg still wasn't an age away.

Flip a coin, then flip it again. We'll see at the end of year, this is too close to call.

FWIW, I voted Rosberg, but that's because I want him to win :D.

Rosberg for me as well. He just looks much more calm.

A guy I talked to at the GP said he was staying at the same hotel as Rosberg and Hamilton, and that a moody Hamilton had an entourage of minders clearing a path for him through the lobby so he could get to/from his room without being bothered. Meanwhile, a relaxed Rosberg brought a football (i.e. soccer ball) out to the car park and had a kick about with some of the other hotel guests.

For the championship mindset, it seems like Hamilton is far more wound up, far more moody when things are a little difficult, and I think is more likely to make serious mistakes such as sustaining damage, failing to manage the car to finish, making poor strategy calls, etc.

Also, Rosberg is much more likeable. Lately, Hamilton is moody before events, whiney on the radio, sulky when things don't go well, and exudes false humility after a win. Between the two, I'm rooting for Rosberg.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Last time... he was gifted the championship by a Toyota that suddenly lost about 40 seconds in the last last, BUT miraculously ran perfect as soon as Hamilton passed it. Seen the race tooooo maaaannyyyyyy times :) I still get frustated every time I see it :(

Agreed. Additionally, Rosberg is a company man, all the way. He'll win.

Whoever has the most DNFs will lose.

This is not a skill race any longer as they have both proven they are masters at their craft. This is now a game of luck.

    Yes I agree with that.

Rosberg certainly has proven that he is not a 2 bit racer who lucked into some wins.

It's too close to all. Particularly with the double points wild card.
