F40 is fantastic, especially with the pop up headlamps. But just got 32 golds for reaching the next level! Now we're talking.

20 gold is the new normal amount but you get 32 when you hit a level that ends in 5 or 0

Finally. But they have to improve the physics of the game. For example, slipstream.

I agree slipstreaming is an obvious flaw, especially at a track like the Indy Speedway. One thing I don't care for in the game is how once you have passed the leader they just seem to wilt and usually you win by a country mile.

If I could make a change it would be to increase your end cash award based on how far ahead you were in winning, maybe a flat number for that race win and an extra dollar for every meter ahead.

Currently about 28% through the nearly 2000 races with 30 cars and on level 60. Getting 20 gold coins for going up a level is a nice change, but the amount of fame points to move up a level has also increased as you progress.

It seems each series has two or three really challenging races in order to get to a 100% series completion. Once series (can't remember which but had GT500 and Camaro ZL1 as two fastest cars) had a Cup race at the Speedway that I had to play probably 20 times before finishing first. Melborne as a track isn't hard, but negotiating a Cup race with 21 other cars comes down to luck sometimes.

Does anyone know if the Hyundai rally car, earned early on, is used in later series? I am 92% complete in that series with one race to go, but it requires a PR rating of 60.0 which means a full upgrade of the car. Extremely expensive when an engine upgrade is $90k and you still have four upgrades left.

One series I am in now has the 918 Spyder as a car, will have to save up a lot to get that one at over $900k.

BTW, the Endurance races are my personal favorite. You have to weave through painfully slow cars at the start yet still go as fast as possible, it is always that last car you aren't able to pass in time that keeps you from getting 1st place or completing the lap before running out of time and getting bonus time.

I think the flaw also includes too short races. For example, 2 laps at Laguna Seca. and 5 laps at Melbourne. Melbourne is a great circuit with great flow, but, you have to crash into everyone to win the race in 5 laps. And in a powerful car, a lap time is just 55 seconds.

Indy can be a pain. The bots just close the door on you, and through the curves, it has a very tight line, and almost impossible to overtake on the outside, and they just smash you on the wall.

Another issue is when you go against a Koeneigsegg, or a Buggati. They have top speeds, and on tracks like spa and the mount, they use the grass to overtake you at full speeds. I used a Pagani Hyuara, only stage 1 upgrades to win at Spa. The Pagani has awesome grips through the flowing corners, the exit speed is it's huge advantage.

I love enduro too. But, is the price money the same or more rewarding compared to Cup races?

One thing that was changed in the recent upgrade on online play is when you cut a corner you have about 5 seconds where the car will not accelerate. I personally like this feature as I have won more online races than I have lost because of it.

What is very annoying about online (but also AI races) is that a competitor can intentionally ram you, even in a straight line, and slow you down but they don't drop speed. Had a couple of races last night against good online competitors that did this and could pass and open a 50m gap just by rubbing me at the start. Perhaps any contact results in both cars having power dropped for a second or two...

I gave up racing online a while ago. One feature in the latest update now, which is better is that they dropped the minimal requirement of PR performances. That way, you don't have to upgrade your car to the required level in order to compete. I complete lots of races and finished lots of series by them dropping this thing.

    Now saving for a Bugatti.

I have been trying to time my completion of series to take advantage of the 20% discount when you qualify to purchase a car. Racing online is a good way to amass money using cars like the Ford Focus. Servicing is only 4 minutes for it and cheap. You can basically race continuously using it and the Skyline.

Need 5 more medals in the series I am in for a Carrera GT, so trying to wait to get $300k+ ready for when it comes time to buy it.

Got burned by the 918 Spyder becoming available before I started saving this way. Now need $900k to get it instead of $720k :(

I just passed the $1mm mark last night. Only buying cars I either have to or absolutely want. But the game is still so bugged since the upgrade. I now have to race a race twice because the first time the ad pops up and the program restarts.

It also gives and error when I click on service. Hopefully they'll fix this FAST!

On what are you playing? Apparently if you buy a minimum amount of golds the ads vanish

Just the single player game. I just recently had the ads start showing up, and I couldn't care less about the ads, but the fact they keep crashing the game, and now since the update anytime I service a car it gives me and error and then closes the game is annoying.

The CGT is a quite tough car in the game. In fact, some cars are quite horrible. The Mclaren MP4/16C, The Ford GT..One of the crap thing about this game is, some of the cars have horrible gearboxes. They take forever to downshift into a corner, and hence, we can't rely on engine braking.

Some cars, like the Pagani Hyuara, the Porsche 918, and a bunch of Skylines GTRs are awesome because of their acceleration and great downshifts.

I raced the Hyuara yesterday at the SIlverstone, crossed the line in second, behind the Bugatti, and the game crashed. Has to restart!

No, I meant is it an ipad? If you buy a small amount of golds the ads should not pop up anymore, crashing the app

I just bought the p1 and have the 919 fully upgraded. The last 10 laps race of the Le Mans series offers big rewards, especially if doubled by the bonuses.

    Oh! On my S5.

But it shouldn't have to buy anything to keep the game from crashing. The problem just started with the recent update.

It's so boring ATM. I spent all the money I could spend and it now just keeps on accumulating fruitlessly but still have some 5 cars and a whole bunch of updates to buy only on golds. It will take forever to get the thousands of golds required, even with the new awarding system

Generally, i only upgrade the cars to the minimum PR. Then i try to win the races with partially upgraded cars, not fully upgraded cars. I have about 99 gold now, just spent 1.5 mil on the Bugatti. Stock wise, that thing flies, but no brakes. Won 2 races with no upgrades.

My best advice would be to buy one of the lmp1 cars, update it enough to get to the last race of the last series which is a ten lapper round Le Mans and keep playing and winning that with the assistant's bonuses. Each time gives you back some 500.000 in cash and a lot of points to jump levels and get the gold coins for it. Sadly for me I will need to jump some 100 levels just to purchase the final few cars in golds. And I can't do anything with the cash I get. Boring

I bought the Porsche 919 Hybrid. Unfortunately, the gold required to sufficiently update it is prohibitive.

    All the best,
    Andrew.
