Yep, stayed his course very slowly until he passed him and then was back on race pace in the dry line. Whatever, its history now. I'm rooting for Rosberg, Hamilton rubs me the wrong way every time i see him lately. Last year i was pulling for the both of them, this year he just seems like, as my wife calls him, a "whiny *****".
Complete and utter garbage. I have loads of points to totally counter that, but I can't be bothered, suffice to say watch this, and tell me why on gods earth did that complete utter idiotic cretin Mosley, take the win off Hamilton days after the flag had dropped, that alone was enough to alter the WDC race, if Massa had won it would have been biggest travesty and hollow victory of recent times, end off. BTW you did know Glock had the wrong tyre compound on for the changes conditions in Brazil didn't you. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5K9P9z_Lwa0[/ame]
Interesting anecdote. Though the extent to which those actions are attributable to each drivers character remains questionable. Personally I think Lewis's behaviour was merely a victim of the circumstances he found himself in. So many points down in a WDC due to bs DNFS despite hAving more wins. More so exacerbated by the days events; ie idiotically throwing away pole position by aborting his lap. He needed the time to focus on himself and reflect and after doing so came back mentally stronger and won the race. If the roles were reversed I doubt nico would still be all chum chum with the hotel guests and playing soccer.
Agree. When Lewis had his run of 4 straight to take the WDC lead, Rosberg was showing the signs of stress and frustration (how many times did we hear how much he 'hated coming in second....to HIM'?). I also think that they are two different personalities. For better or for worse, Hamilton has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Throughout the history of F1, there have been icemen and hotheads. I don't think either is more virtuous than the other, just different personalities.
Yes. There was a ton of tinkering with the results that year. The Spa race was absolutely ridiculous. Giving back the position doesn't mean conceding the race. You are right that conditions changed in Brazil and Glock was caught out with the wrong tires in the wrong section of the track. No tfh's required.
Lewis really drove pretty crappy in 2008 (Montreal anyone?). He should have walked that title and he barely beat Massa to win it. Yes Spa was a joke, but lest we forget Massa lost an engine while leading at Hungary with 5 to go and the whole fuel hose debacle at Singapore. Cost him 20 points right there. EDIT: Actually that was Kimi's title to lose but he was asleep at the wheel that year. If he drove like he did in 2007 it would have been over early...
There were a lot of up's and downs that year, however no one at all will convince otherwise that the results were not tinkered with over the board room table, mainly because of Mosley's hate of Ron Dennis.
Hamilton. Whenever Rosberg is ahead I'm always expecting Hamilton to catch him. When Lewis is ahead unless his car fails I feel he can hold the lead. Interesting how Nico's pitstops are always much quicker though...
Whilst I don't disagree, it is far more rewarding to earn your success, the harder you work, the greater your reward, and if you are really hungry for that reward, it is a much greater feeling when you accomplish it IMO.
Fortnight = 2 weeks Me foaming at the mouth explaining who it is to you ...come on man...there is only pond separating us..
I originally liked Hamilton - but he has gone all Hollywood & rap star... that is a massive turn off for me. I've never been a Rosberg fan - either Keke or Nico... but I hope Rosberg can do it this year... he deserves it and doing it as a German in a german team ... cool... ( ok its an english team owned by the Germans)
If Rosberg wins the title in a German team, Germany wins the World Cup and with 4 German victories out if the first 6 stages of the Tour, are Germans are trying to prove a point or what?
