This is interesting...: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EIrO2bP6Q8&feature=youtu.be (Not my video)

Note the single exhaust tips and doesn't she look good on 'Challenge' rims?!

PS: Manuma, ChalStrad... Congrats to your new rides! Can it get any better than TdF-blue & Bianco (of course Fuji!) accents? I don't think so...

Unless the XX version is going to have some really awkward implementation of 4WS it looked great until the rear suspension broke at the 2:20 mark.

^Yep, realized it too... but then I'm wondering why he continues to drive it that hard? Seems to be no big problem after that "potential breakdown'?

Yes seemed to pull itself back in line once the vehicle straightened out but clearly some portion of the upper control arm is not in control there. Not sure the driver was quite aware?

Most likely he had no idea it was that bad and thought he was simply sideways. I hope he stopped shortly after that.

I thought it was agreed that they weren't any fxx mules in existence? Sure that's an fxx?

That was a few weeks ago. That looks different than the black LF people said was an LF XX. This one has wider arches, the wing seems to be much more active, the wheels are different..looks like an XX.

The F2008 was probably with the F2004 the greatest Ferrari F1 car of the modern era. The metallic red, however, is a really tough color as it is very difficult to match, tends to fade here and there and looks much better on photos or on TV than in reality.

My F2008 was redone in a more traditional red and when side by side with this one, the traditional looks better. It also shows the lines of the car better.

That Monza car is the first time I genuinely believe we are seeing an XX-purpose mule.

As noted above, the mule looks a lot stiffer than the regular LaF, and the wing is much more active. It looks so well-planted out of the chicane. The sound is magnificent.

Anyone know what that device hanging out from the rear is?

Perhaps they're testing track-spec brakes too, or could this glow just be coming from the production CCM system?

That is correct. The car is still in a relatively early stage. This is also the first time that there has been a serious development with the aero (cf rear wing)

By development you mean the rear wing is moving a lot higher than the standard car?

The wing is larger, and not just from the addition of a gurney flap as in the case of the NBR car. The diffuser stall flaps appear to have been removed. And yeah the wing is more active (spends more time extended) compared to the standard car, based on videos. Too much downforce for the standard suspension pieces maybe?

More likely a failure from overworking the kerbing at Monza more than anything else. The high kerbs there have been known to play havoc in dramatic fashion in the past.

A failure like that is almost always related to riding a kerb or going off track.
