    8KG is fantastic. Extremely light.

For comparrison sake, the bonnet of a standard 550 Maranello weighs in at 17kg on it's own, and that's aluminium and missing an intergrated front bumper and fenders

Interesting given the vast area difference of a 550 simple bonnet (hood) and a full clam. We are hoping that by the time we have wheel arches, headlight recesses, elements of the undertray etc, and importantly all ducting in place, we will have an assembly weighing approximtely the same as the 550 hood on its own.

Hi Tim, for molds of carbon wheel arches first the need to remove this from front hood? Is this glue with front hood? or they make the molds with this part mount?

    Regards

As Said a few posts ago, you are in very capable hands at owens!
The skyline mentioned is one of the most complete packages tuning wise!
-converted to e-throttle, paddleshift sequential gearbox (closed loop) etc... There are youtube video of it driving around, search for http://youtu.be/U059pKpvzYo

Which asnu injectors did you end up with?

400cc's seems a tad small to me with the projected HP levels but that's just a guestimate using past references. Any idea what size the car used when racing?

I have a brand new one in the box, should've mentioned it to save the wait. Well there's a spare here if you need one.

That video is quite significant...For people that want to know, this is a 2.8 engine with a GT45 sized turbo on there (HKS T62). I can't believe how drivable it seems!

    For comparison sake:

    http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1962/ripsrb30lineup3500hp001md4.jpg

GT3037's on the far left (same size as Travellers' GTX3071Rs, just an older model turbo), GT4508 in the middle (same as the T62R fitted to the Skyline in the video). The one on the right is a T51R.

Pity, I did actually mention that I was looking for a new one a few posts back, quite a few, and asking for suggestions!

I used to have a T51R in my track day evo set up which included a 2.2 Tomei stroker kit. I have to say that it worked perfectly, without big lag and the response was amazing. Of course it was only 2.2 but it was great.
