Ok let me see if I understand this,

    I'd like a 250 GTO - check
I'm too poor to afford one - check
    I have a 275 instead - check

ok I think I get it. Thank you. :)

07271 has had an unfortunate life with many mishaps. Poor car. But at least it's repairable.

p.s. Picture taken at Zandvoort in 1991.

I would have thought Grigio Fumo but I am really not sure at all.
    Marcel would know this.

This car was repainted and retoresd by DK in 2011. The color grigio Mahmoud - interior bordeaux.
Grigio Mahmoud was a color made between 81-86 (+/-)

this car was originaly in white

If you look on 330gt.com, Grigio Mahmuod is there on a Italaver paint chip set for Pininfarina cars which is apparently for 365s.
Which implies earlier dates, so maybe it is correct for the 275?

Grigio Mahmoud is a color of the late 1960s (see 365 GTC's).
However, none of the 275 GTB's or 275 GTB/4's were originally painted Grigio Mahmoud.

And as already stated previously #10835 was born Bianco Polo Park (white).

Which means something or not? I mean such a lovely color and none were painted in that color. What were people thinking? Or maybe they were not thinking at all. In this case I think DK (or whoever did this) did ABSOLUTELY the right thing. Paint it in this color combo instead of white.

    Sometimes niceness trumps originality ;)

The Scaglietti range of colors selected for the 275GTB were from the Glidden Salchi paint manufacturer; Pininfarina in this period used essentially Italver colors. If you chose a color, I believe it was interpreted into the respective product range on offer by each coachworks and did not generally cross over in my view. I expect you did not get specific Italver color on a Scaglietti body in that period. It is generally not original to mix them up (like the FChat community tends to do all the time), unless evidence to the contrary and no doubt there were exceptions.
