Perhaps during Certification the original steering wheel, seats and shift-knob will be re-installed.

I have pics of the missing vin plate and some other items but not of the crash itself.

Cheap for US car but market for crashed car I'd say (30% less)

I wonder if it can come back easily since it's a US Spec?

Shouldn't have any issues returning as long as the emissions equipment hasn't been tampered with.

In less than a 45 seconds read, one goes from an interesting prospect to crashed history, a buyer beware warning and likely discounted pricing. Seriously impressive FChat inputs.

Separately, I bought a lovely F50 over the weekend to sit alongside my F40 (can't wait for long summer evenings lol). The dealer (UK) who sold me the F50 reckoned my F40 (a 1990 non cat non adj one previous owner 13.5km car) could see its values rise even faster this year as it becomes eligible for sale in the US? I've no intention of selling but wondered if his comment had any substance?

And exhaust, and remove what looks like speakers (look at the interior pic by the foot wells...). Will Classiche pass an F40 with the Tubi exhaust as looks to be the case here?

I think with so many F40s on the market in Italy (and getting cheaper every day as the euro goes down) I think the first move will be for US cars to drift lower as the US market adjusts for the plentiful supply of cheaper priced cars not the other way around.

Congrats on the F50. Please post pics!

Cheers. The F50 will not be delivered for several weeks - requires service, new tank, new tyres, detailing etc but will be happy to post when able. Per the F40 prices in Europe, they seem pretty firm with non cat, non adj low kms examples being much firmer. Hopefully long awaited QE from the ECB beginning next month will tickle the market.
