Was at the ferrari showroom in London yesterday where the Sergio concept was on display, was confirmed that it has been produced for six customers with the Speciale engines and a windscreen plus targa roof, any other details would be great ...

It will take me time to get used to it or maybe I need to see it in person to appreciate it. Best

Hrm...side profile is pretty nice! I'm not sure about the front tho. I guess you have to wear a helmet? Otherwise, catch bugs n rocks with your face!

Stylistically, I do like the front end treatment as an evolution of the current 458. I am much less impressed by the R8-like "black belt" and the reverse overhanging top construct. Amateur hour.

Might be the ugliest car I have seen (worse than an Aztek).

I think it looks great. Even if its not your idea of beauty, the resurgence of coach built Ferraris (which Glikenhaus single handedly brought back into fashion) is fantastic for the collector car market. Projects like this help define certain collectible automobiles as Art. You may not get it but we should respect its expression. Bravo for the effort and I hope to see more.

I wonder why Ferrari didn't give the authorization to Michael Stoschek to produce the new Stratos based on 430 Scuderia? I remember that after this, Stochek's team said that the car could besed on 360 SC platform. And now, after almost 4 years from that, it comes Ferrari Sergio taht probably will be based on the Speciale.

    Interesting!

Without criticism of your view point, we disagree and have to agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. IMO "avant garde" art does necessarily mean tasteful or beautiful, this being a case in point for allot of money. Best

When I was at the Cali T unveiling in Modena I am sure I was in the company of one of those buyers. A companion of this person told me so during the evening event. He told me that they had spent the day at the factory for a special showing of the car to the 6 owners. It sounded ok, a 458 spyder type with the speciale engine. If I recall he said some kind of green or emerald color. He also showed me a cell phone pic but I couldn't really discern anything. After that, I had heard nothing more, even my dealer knew nothing, didn't know what I was talking about.
Its nice to hear that I didn't get it wrong or that it wasn't bs.
