OK Mikey, when do you start teaching/allowing them to back Robin out of the garage. My dad had me doing it when I was 11 !!!! Cheers, Hankie
Mike, that is an awesome photo. Hank, did you perhaps grow up in a climate where there was an advantage to getting the car warmed up before going outside?
Thanks Dave, lol Hank looks like a Southern CA kinda guy all his life but back then, it was just orange groves everywhere, even in the early 80s when I lived there! Hi Hankie, my daughter is turning 10, son is 9, looks like I have at least a year left to teach them, but currently I have 8 cars under my name, most likely we won't start learning in the Ferrari
Top picture is without a doubt the most beautiful angle of a Mondial. Had one in the 80s and this brings back the memories... Thanks for sharing. Ps I love my 348 Spider but the Mondial will always be my first love....
Right Mikey, It was in "mungst" those orange groves that my dad took me for those awesome extended driving practice sessions. BTW, the car that I backed out of the garage (at age 11) was a new 1949 Plymouth 4 dr sedan. At 14+ I bought my first car, a 35 Ford 5 window coupe. Ahh, those wonderful memories of a kid falling in love with cars !! A bit later for the other love !! Cheers, Hank

Today MvT stopped by with his fabulous 3.2. Goal was to go have a look at the Moneytron Mondials, but time wasn't on our side. So we sticked with a small trip, a fotoshoot, a good chat and refreshments. It was way too hot today: 34°C. Image Unavailable, Please Login
When we have this kind of temp, it's mostly with a high humidity. I prefer the sunny 20 to 25°C range.
Two sisters meet! and lady in Red is in better shape when I saw it last time very neat job on it! Like the yellow lenses! The goal was indeed to look at the Moneytron competition cars that are up for sale and the golden Dino GT4. However I needed to fix my vent valve of the fuel tanks as I got almost gassed out of my Mondial whenever I opened the window. Vent valve appeared to be sticky. There are some other nice Ferraris up for sale too.. There will be a nxt time in the upcoming weeks I guess to look at them So how enchanted are you on the Nouvalari now that you have heard for real?
