F12 TRS was most likely a one-off commisioned by a customer via Ferrari's Special Projects division. I recall a user posting that the car had been in development for 3 years. The news outlets have published a $4.2M price, but that has not beem confirmed or validated by any sources.

Ok, the side view of the TRS has me sold. I would love it is many of those styling cues made it to the replacement of the F12.

I'm still torned. Not sure about that double lip. Don't like the clear engine cover and the wheels could be one size smaller.

But it is a much bolder design than some of the SP cars.

Shouldn't be an issue in Europe. Do a Single Vehicle Approval test (in the UK), job done legal Euro title.

It's how they imported Nissan Skylines to more difficult European countries from Japan...they couldn't be directly registered, but because the UK is part of the EU, cars registered first over there are the EU legal and save for import.

Apparently it's the same with the Zonda 760LM; the engine only met Euro 3 regs apparently, so it was registered in Andorra firstly (not sure if it has a different reg now, but it's one of the other loopholes :)).

Apart from the clear engine cover I like everything on it … and it sounds like an F1 car (not the current ones but the ones that used to have screaming V12's … the good old days).

In that video from the Cavalcade, I love how the owner's lady friend doesn't seem to mind that they are going light speed down a tight road. If I tried to pull that with my wife, she'd be screaming her head off. I guess that's why my wife doesn't ride with me anymore.

    Love this car.

I wonder what exhaust system they installed on it. It just sounds glorious in my opinion.

    +1

Finally a really strong exhaust note on a stock exhaust. This car is full of WIN.

How about an informal poll among the readers of this thread?

Out of all the SP's (let's include P4/5), which one would you pick? I love the P4/5 but I think the F12 TRS jumps to the top of the list.

    What do you guys think?

I liked Clapton's SP, but it lacks the drama of the TRS.

So far the TRS is my pick.

Hope it's not too late to lodge an opinion. There is much that I like about it. The rear end treatment is especially dramatic without being vulgar. I do wish there was less bulk in the rear deck. It seems to interrupt the overall swoop of the design, making for an overly chunky appearance. The front end is also dramatic, and IMO more pleasing than LaFerrari. But I think I would prefer less chunky rims of a 20" diameter. As it is the stance of the car is somewhat compromised by the oversized rims.

Looked better with the old wheels and without the roll bars.
