I think silver looks great on a F355.

Almost bought a Verde Silverstone/tan car. Very nice looking. Color changes with sun. Looks almost blue in shade, sparkles green in sun. I passed on the car due to condition and ended up with my other first choice, a 95 Swaters Blu/tan. Probably would have gone for the Vedre if the car was in better condition. Turned out the car never sold last year and went off eBay for $36k this year. Price definitely reflected quality. Ferrari 355 Spider | eBay

I have titanium, at times looks slightly blue in the sun. Quite an attention getter, at least in Vancouver.

I am again reminded of that chasing classic cars episode where they restored adaytona spider from Rossa Corsa back to its original verde something with beige interior. Stunning.

Are you looking for a manual Spider, a GTB or GTS?

I'm a blue, not a green guy, but I've loved all the greens I've seen. Generally with the "std" beige interior.

Tan interior yes! Much cooler than black. Buy it. Silver is a great color for these cars lines. Even better for the 355. Yeah it's Mercedes' color but if you don't want Ferrari Red or Yellow. do silver.

Dear God, $36k?! Besides it being not the most desirable color, I don't see much wrong with it, and it even had $10k done in recent maintenance.

Every time I read this forum it seems my car devalues $10k, getting ridiculous.

I dig green cars, unfortunately, they don't sell well in the secondary market. I applaud guys like JK who ordered his Enzo black with green interior and his LaF in kermit green (whatever it might be called).

When I looked at it last year I felt the owner was not fourth coming with pictures etc. It was like pulling teeth to get him to provide details. Just never got a good feeling about the car. For example, I specifically asked for pics of all 4 wheels. He sent me one, cropped so that 1/3 of the edges of the rims could not be seem. Who knows? Interior needed a lot of work. Maybe he was too busy or just didn't know how to present the car to a serious buyer, or just didn't care. As I recall, the recent ($10k) major was at least 5 years old when I looked at it. The owner told me that the only thing he had done was an oil change. He was also the 7th owner. If I remember correctly he was asking $52k for the car. After I reviewed all the records and figured out what it needed the most I would have offered was in the area of $39k. I would have offered that but I didn't want to buy a car and put it in the shop all summer and then the car I bought not showed up in ready to drive condition. The car was also for sale from the previous owner a year earlier (2012) out of Virginia, priced to sell. What records there were, were from Competizione & Sports Cars. The car seemed to eat batteries as well. Seemed every time it was in the shop a new battery was fitted. No indication of valve guides having been done so that was also a potential additional cost. I actually have a video of the owners son driving the car. Owner said he had to sell it because he was getting a Tesla. A year later he still has the car and sells it on ebay for $36k.

It looked like at one time the car was well taken care of but then it started getting passed around by guys who wanted a Ferrari for the summer. $36k seems fair, and obviously the seller wanted out. The car easily could have required $24k of work.
